"Go ahead, son. Tell me the story."

"Well, dad--"

"THE TRUE STORY, this time."

I'd hoped that dad had already forgotten about the last time I went out without any permission. Long story-short, some Eeth dragon almost desolated this nearby village.

"Dad,... well, so, I was just simply grazing around the Castle Fields when, all of a sudden, A HUGE FREAKIN' EXPLOSION WENT LIKE PAHOOOOOOOOOOOM AND THEN KABAAAAAAM AND,-AND--"

"Just get straight to the point."

"So, I saved this kid and he even offered me some gold and I thought, just maybe, that money would be good enough for the rebuilding of the daily destruction of the castle."

"Made by you, just for the record."

"Alright, alright, and--"

"Why did you even trust this boy for even one second? Hell, if he would've just taken you to their homeground territory, you might be in one of their dungeons right now."

"Dad, the fear was in his eyes. Real fear."

"Cory, my son, you know better than to trust any of these Pegasii, nonetheless save one member."

"But--"

"And, of course he was afraid. A lone boy, a 12-year-old boy might I add, alone in the woods, bloody hell, even a grownup would be fear-striken."

"You said it yourself, dad,... Pegasii are trained right after the day they become 10."

"And you said it yourself, this boy--"

<grunts>  Suddenly, I felt a surge of pain through my chin. the exact point where Sizon's sword touched me.

"Cory, are you alright?"

"Y-y-es, dad, go on..."

"You, you said it yourself, my boy, that this particular child was different."

"I never told you that..."

"I can see it in your eyes. Your left eye twitches whenever you're astonished. It's still twitching."

<door barges open>

"Sir! There's an Eeth dragon destroying the outer fields."

"We're still not done here, Cory."

<slam> <opens door>

"DAD!!! I CAN HELP!!!"

But dad was too far away to even hear me. I buckled my sword and made myself ready for what was about to happen. Whatever's about to happen. <sigh>... <GASP> Sizon, I completely forgot about Sizon. I ran downstairs to the medic room but he wasn't there. I shouted his name three times but with no answer. I took my luck and ran down to the fields. Destruction. Injury. Pain. Scattered across the Castle Fields as Soldiers, Guards, the whole Castle Infantry was tossed around with no hesitation by the dragon.

The dragon charged its huge red ball of plasma and was ready to shoot it at will. When, out of nowhere, a boulder smashed its face. Making it swallow the ball of plasma and coughing out a smog cloud. I stared at where the boulder came from as the fog went down. It was,.... SIZON?!?!?!

"SIZON!!! SIZON!!!"

Why did I even think for a second that he would hear me out of the noise and roars the dragon was making. It charged its plasma ball once again and shot it straight at Sizon when he instantly lifted up his shield (it never even occured to me that he had a shield) and braced for impact. He was shot back. The only thing I had to do was to try and get daggers into its mouth. A dragon's mouth is its weakest point.

Throwing daggers all around, I ran out with only coughs and choaks from the dragon but that was enough for me to help 'cuz the dragon blasted me with its bolts and I ducked fast enough to not get injured. Hurt, but not injured.

"Hey! Stupid dragon!" <throws another boulder>

<SCREEEEEEECH> The loud screech deafened my ears. But I could still see the action unravel in front of me. Sizon hit its eye and that was enough for the dragon to be distracted for 3 mere seconds. But for Sizon, that was enough time to go up the dragon's tail. Our infantry kept shooting arrows at the dragon but that only served as a distraction as the dragon shot another ball to the infantry's terrace board and shot them away. Sizon got up to the dragon's head and tried to slice his sword onto the dragon's neck, but with no effect. Signs of pain occured but only minor. The dragon tossed and turned its head as Sizon barely held on. Sizon threw away his sword and got his second sword (only now do I realize that he even had a spare sword.) This sword was glowing red and just HUGE compared to Sizon's height. He held on and put the sword next to the dragon's neck and whispered something to its ear. He sliced its neck and, to my amazement, he pierced its skin. Its scaly, hard, skin. He shouted something else I couldn't understand and slammed the sword onto the beast's skull. Right through.

As the smoke cleared, I tried to see where Sizon was. I saw my dad manage to keep a straight face. But where's Sizon?

Never have I seen this awesomeness in my life. Sizon was standing on the dead, lifeless dragon head, sword still inside the head, whispering something to the beast. He got his sword out, blood red, and put it on his back, walking casually. He glanced at me and got his bandage off of his foot and gave it to me.

"A little souvenir."

And continued to walk to the dining room and shouted.

"What's for dinner!"
