Book- Life Is A Rose Garden
Author- PrincessRitz29
The book hasn't been completed yet.
The plot of the book is very nice. I don't know if the readers have noticed it or not, but the book is sort of feminist. Maybe it's only me, but I find it so. It's so feminist that I was addicted to the book until I was silently praying for it to be updated. It is like a campaign. Not an actual one, but I think that in some way or the other, it empowers women. Like women can raise their children single-handedly. It's not a new thing, but it does create awareness among readers.
Secondly, the whole 'being pessimistic' thing of Ayesha in each of the chapter is amusing. It has been depicted very nicely. I could feel the vibes of negativity while reading all the negative parts. To add more to it, the way humor was added to it was even more amusing. It felt as if I was watching a show, which is obvious as the author has stated that the book is based on a Pakistani show called, 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai'.
Then, even after 10 chapters have been published, which, in my opinion, is A LOT OF writing (It takes a lot to even write a single chapter), I feel we didn't get much of Zeeshan. He was like the guy who is a one-sided aashiq in films. I craved more information about him. I read a comment where someone was like,"Go tell her you like her, man!". It was not word-to-word quoting, but the comment meant something like that.
Then, in chapter 10, I really liked it when Rafia refused to Sajid's proposal for Ayesha. I found it really cool. I felt really happy when Rafia refused because it was like a blow to Murtaza and his brother's big, big ego, which I concluded after reading their reactions.
Now, the MAIN flaw in the book is that it has grammatical mistakes. They are not that big mistakes, except one. I found it really irritating. If there is a conversation between more than two people, the author doesn't mention who is speaking the dialogue mentioned. I found it very frustrating. I, or rather, the readers couldn't make out who was speaking what.
The cover is really good. What to do? I find it difficult to leave out the cover while writing a review. I don't know why, but it is so.
Overall, I would happily rate the story 3.5/5.
The author may disagree to the flaws pointed out, but I found it very important to write them.
