Chapter 4: Friends & Crushes

I walked with Jett around the school grounds "so do you have any friends?" I asked

"Uh yeah one his name is Felix" he replied

"Well where is he?" I asked

"Um not too sure"

"Well why don't we go look-" I was cut off by a bell.

"What was that?" I asked

"The bell time to go back to our dorms and get ready for the assembly" Jett said

"Alright then. See ya I guess" I said walking over to the girls dorms.

I walked into the tall building to see girls AGAIN running in and out of rooms. I made my way to my room and walked in since the door was unlocked.

Danielle and Eleanor were looking at clothes and Poppy was reading something on her phone. I walked over and sat on my bed and opened my laptop.

I opened up twitter and scrolled through retweeting and favoriting some things.

I clicked the new tweet icon and typed out,

@Darcy_Spencer; Gah! New school it sucks!

I tweeted it and closed my laptop. "So when do we have to go to this assembly?" I asked

"Right now" Poppy said then stood up. We all walked out of the room and outside.

We made out way over to the assembly building or MPC.

Inside there were tons of people walking around, talking and finding seats.

I followed Poppy and we sat around the middle. Danielle and Eleanor had gone off with another group of girls.

"Darcy" a voice behind me said, I turned around to see Jett and another guy,

"I found Felix" he said pointing to the guy.

I smiled at him, I glance past Jett for a second to see the curly boy, Harry sitting in the row behind Jett and Felix . He was talking to his mates and pointing at me.

"Speak up Curly! I can't hear you!" I shouted at him, I smirked and turned around.

Poppy was looking at me weirdly "your right there Poppy?" I asked

"You? You just stood up to Harry! Harry styles" she said amazed

"Um yeah and punched him before when he was bullying Jett" I explained.

"Wow" she said.

A high pitched noise brought everyone's attention to the front of the room.

The principal Mrs Tate was standing in front of a microphone,

"Hello everyone and welcome back to another year" she smiled

Everyone clapped so I followed along. "Now we have a new student this year, Darcy Spencer could you please come up here?" She asked looking around.

I sighed and stood up walking towards the head.

How the actual fuck could I be the only new kid this year?! How?! I thought to myself.

I finally reached the head and turned around to see around I'd say four hundred set of eyes staring at me.

"Now Darcy why don't you tell us about yourself" mrs Tate said, I nodded and leaned closer to The microphone.

"My name is Darcy Spencer, Im Australian and I'm a tomboy" I stated simply.

"Thank you Darcy you may sit down now" she said to me.
