Chapter 3

Chapter 3: new place new people

"Well" I began "I'm Darcy Im 16, I'm a tomboy, I play just about every sport. I break the law quite a bit, I have a stuck up mother and two sisters and my dad is pretty cool and I have a short temper" I answered

"Okay then" Jett said, I rolled my eyes and pulled my beats up playing the music.

Half an hour later and the bus pulled up outside a huge bricked building.

Everyone started getting out, I waited till everyone was out and walked out, Jett following.

We grabbed out suitcases and looked at the school again. "God" I breathed out, the place was bloody huge!

"Come on" Jett said walking ahead, I followed him through the large gates. We walked into the front doors and into a reception kinda office thing.

We walked over to the desk and looked over. There was a short fat lady sitting there and typing away on her computer.

"Um hello" Jett said

"Uh hello dearys what can I do for you?" She asked in a heavy Yorkshire accent.

"Um Jett James and a new girl Darcy Spencer, could we please have our information" Jett explained, I rolled my eyes. The lady started typing something on the laptop.

Jett looked at me pleased I have him an icy glare "what?" He asked

"I'm not some Girly prissy girl that needs a guy to do everything for her" I said poking his chest repeatedly.

"Ouch and sorry" he replied.

The lady passed us some papers and a key each, "there are you room numbers, your room keys and a map of the school have a nice day Luv's" she explained in her Yorkshire accent.

We walked out of the office and towards the two other buildings that were marked DORMS.

"Uh that's the girl dorms and their the boys so I'll see you later maybe" Jett said walking in the opposite direction of me. I sighed and walked towards the building.

I walked inside to see a long bright hallway with girls running in and out of rooms. I sighed and walked down looking for my room number 28.

"26, 27, ah 28!" I said to myself, I slowly pushed open the door to see a girl with medium length brown wavy hair, average height and she was unpacking her suitcase.

She looked up "um hi Im um Poppy Evans nice to meet um you" she said then went back to her bag.

"Darcy" I said and walked over to one of the spare beds. I laid my back pack and over night bag on it. I hauled up my two suitcases.

I turned around to see the girl looking at me "take a picture it'll last longer" I snapped

"Oh uh sorry just never heard an Australian before" she replied, only then did I notice she had an English accent.

"Whatever" I said and opened both my suitcases.

In the room their were four single beds, guess I'd be having three room mates. Their were four bedside tables, two dressers, one bathroom and two huge cupboards. Their also was a window seat that looked out over the courtyard.

I opened one of the drawers to my bed side table I shoved in my um undergarments.

I closed it quickly and moved over to one of the cupboards. I'm gathering I had to share this, I pulled out some clothes and hung them up on the hangers that were there. I looked inside my cartoon suitcases to see four sets of shoes. My red high top converse, my fluro green runners, a pair of white high top converse and a pair of purple high top converse.

I placed them under my bed and pulled my now empty suitcases off the bed and put them under the bed aswell.

I opened my over night bag to see my Mac laptop, my phone, and a family photo? I pulled it out and looked at it, it was a picture of a family dinner that I was dragged along too. I put it on my bedside table, I made a mental note to scribble out mum, Annie and Emily's face later.

I finally unpacked everything. At that same moment the door opened and two other girls walked in one had long curly brown hair, was tan and had brown eyes. The other had long brown wavy hair and was slightly pale.

"Hi I'm Danielle" the tan one said "I'm Eleanor" the other said.

"I'm Poppy Evans" poppy said smiling, they all looked at me "Darcy Spencer" I said.

"Well bye" I said I pulled my beats up and pressed play on my music. I walked outside of the dorms and just started walking aimlessly looking at everything.

I was walking past the boys dorms when I heard a yelp. That sounded a lot like Jett. I looked behind the tall building and saw a bunch of boys pushing Jett around.

I don't know why but anger boiled inside of me. I walked over and shouted "oi leave him alone!"

They all turned to look at me. "What are you going to do about it?" A boy asked walking over to me, he had brown curly hair and bright green eyes, he was only slightly taller than me too.

"If you don't I'll beat the shit out of you" I said, they all burst out laughing.

I raised an eyebrow "but your a girl you couldn't beat me up even if you tried" the curly boy got out.

"Darcy don't!" Jett said

My blood boiled "just a girl? Just a girl Ey? I may be a girl but I'm not a prissy, Girly girl that needs everything done for me" I screamed

I pulled my arm back and it made contact with the boys face and there was a sickening slap.

He looked taken aback so did the rest of his mates. "Let Jett go and I won't do it again" I said

The boy raised his hand and brought it down I grabbed his forearm before it could hit me, "aw your gonna hit me? But I'm just a girl" I said and pushed him back.

I pushed his away and walked over to the guy that was holding Jett, he was tan and had black hair in a very un-usual shape.

"Let go off him" I said, he immediately let go and Jett waked behind me.

I began to walk away with Jett when a voice yelled to me.

"What?" I asked turning around the boy who I slapped was smiling?

"I'm Harry this is Zayn, Louis and Niall" he said

"Yeah and I don't give a flying fuck" I said and turned away.

"Thanks for that" Jett said

"Your welcome" I said, "who are they anyway?" I asked

"Oh only the most popular dickheads in the school" Jett explained.

"Well that explains it" I said

"They've been bullying me since I came here two years ago" Jett said

"Well you know if they give you shit again I'll beat em up for ya" I said smiling, Jett smiled back

Wait, wait hold da phone! Am I, Darcy Spencer, being nice?! Well I guess one friend won't hurt.
