Piper's POV:

Finally, my long 8 and a half month pregnancy is over. The wait was long, tiring, exciting, scary, and sickening at times. I was really excited-ever since Percy and Annabeth Jackson had had their beautiful daughter Kayla, I have wanted a child. And now, finally, my dream came true!

The biggest surprise of all came when I was 2 months pregnant. I was told that I was having twins, a boy and a girl! Jason kind of freaked out, and when he finally came to his senses he decided that we didn't have enough space in our tiny Manhattan apartment for two gorgeous children. After about two weeks of searching, we came upon this beautiful three bedroom apartment in a pretty district on the outskirts of Manhattan. Once we actually bought it, my mom did a fair bit of the decorating. Jason and I had not begun to paint or decorate, because we had been so busy the last few weeks.

Jason and I were coming home from a nice lunch we had together in central Manhattan. We went inside the aparment, and it looked totally different. It was just like I had always pictured my dream home-light blue walls, beautiful polished white painted cabinets and closets. The kitched was a beautiful shade of light orange, with black granite bench tops and chestnut cabinets and drawers. The master bedroom was a light turquoise, with white carpet, and a green fuzzy rug. The bedspread was spectacular, a darker turquoise with little white spots, complete with sheets and a green sham.

The babies' nursery was a beautiful shade of very light mint green. Two white cribs were lined up on one wall, lengthwise. The cribs had matching bedding, but one set was blue, and the other pink. The big bay window let lots of sunlight in, falling on the round indigo rug in the center of the rectangular room. It even had little light turqiouse curtains with polka dots pulled to either side. On the other side of the room was wall-to-ceiling storage cubbies, but about two feet from the ground, the cubbies jutted forward, leaving a little shelf above the ground. In two places, the cubbies weren't there, and instead were two changing tables, one on each side. They were complete with mats, and the drawers beneath them were filled with baby powder, diapers, the whole deal. One mat was fuzzy baby blue, the other fuzzy pink. All of the cubbies were filled with little white wicker baskets, complete with lining (either pink or blue) and labels. Most of the baskets were filled with clothes and other baby essentials. The bigger cubbies down the bottom had blankets folded neatly in them. It was perfect, really, but I was slightly annoyed. I like decorating and doing things myself, and here my mom had come and just done it all for me! But she had saved Jason and I hundreds of dollars, so I suppose it was pretty nice of her, and I have to be glad that she didn't overdo it, being the goddess of love, Aphrodite.

Everything else was gorgeous, too, just stunning. All of the rooms and hallways were beautifully furnished, arranged and coloured perfectly. Aphrodite had even hung some pretty artwork on the wall, giving the house an expensive touch. I loved it. So did Jason. We were astounded. There was a little note on the kitchen table saying, "Congratulations, Piper and Jason. Love, Aphrodite, soon-to-be grandmother,".

So, that brings me to know, just arrived home for the very first time. I am exhausted from the long labour, an entire 12 hours, and then seeing my little babies for the very first time. They are both healthy, and full, the girl in Jason's arms, the boy in my lap.

Jason and I took about twenty minutes to finally decide on their names. The boy is called Jack Hugo Grace, a little boy of 5 pounds 13 ounces, 18 inches and the girl is Alexa Harper Grace, 5 pounds 7 ounces, a small 17 inches.

Jack is a full four minutes older than Alexa. Jack is blond-haired, blue eyed (from what we can tell), and little Lexi has brown hair, and appears to be able to change her eye colour at will. Just like her mom!
