Soon enough Papyrus had ran ahead of Frisk as they approached Snowdin, Sans kept his distance. He simply observed her walk, it was odd, it still felt like this was the first time she had ever came here.
Like the sense of curiosity came from her still.
Of course, it wasn't.
Before Frisk could reach the library (Or the, uh, 'librarby') Sans reached out and grabbed her arm. "Uh, hey, kid." Sans stammered, looking down "Do you wanna grab something from Grillby's a bit early this time?"
With a smile, Frisk nodded and Sans led her to the bar.
They both greeted the dogs and the regulars before sitting at the stools. "2 orders of burg please." Sans ordered, remembering it was what Frisk wanted to get almost every time.
"So... uh, why say it now?" Sans asked turning to Frisk "That you remembered me, I mean."
"Because, we died too many times." She stated bluntly, looking down at her lap "Do you even remember every time you died?"
"I... no." Sans muttered "I don't."
"Exactly." Frisk looked up "I can feel every time I died, see it, see when you died... it's..." She looked away "It's all too much."
Grillby appeared and presented them with the burgers, Sans decided this would not be a good time to drown her food in sauce. Her face lit up and she dug in, it was kind of cute. Sans absent-mindedly poked her cheek, causing her to pout.
"Hmm..." Sans mused, hopping off the chair "Come with me." with a confused look, Frisk followed. Sans led her past the house that housed a monster with a... rather strange liking of knocking and up to the river bend where the river man (or woman, nobody really knows much about them) would be eventually waiting to give anyone a ride.
"Ah good... no one here." Sans muttered looking around
"What do you mean by tha-" Frisk was cut off by Sans using his magic to force her head down and meet lips with his cold teeth.
He pulled away slowly, winked and stated "That's what I mean by that."
