His POV
"Was that her?!" Shawn gaped angrily, panicking as he glanced around at the trees. Gilinsky shrugged, not really giving an answer.
"Was it fucking her or not?" Shawn pressed angrily, hating how Jack didn't even care she ay have seen them.
"Jeez, I already told you. I think it was her, I'm not sure if it actually was," He took a moment to roll his eyes before continuing, "go find out for yourself if you're wanting to know so bad."
Shawn threw his hands in the air dramatically. "How the fuck am I supposed to explain what just happened? I can't tell her I'm a vampire, that's kind of against the rules."
"Oh," He continued, "I also can't say I was just experimenting, because if I was, then I'd be kissing your lips which is so gay." He began to pace, shaking his head.
"Then just say you're gay. Who cares," He shrugged, leaning back against their cabin.
Shawn wanted to slap him. "I like her! That's why!"
"Damn, calm down. It's not a big deal, she should understand."
He couldn't control what he said next. "Well yeah? If it's not a big deal, let me go suck Johnson's neck and you'll see how it feels," He huffed quickly, running to the door.
"Oh fucking hell Shawn!" Gilinsky yelled from behind, trying to catch the boy. Shawn, being at an advantage with having super speed, dashed off to their bedroom. "Hey Shaw– What the fuck?!"
Johnson tried to move away but Shawn's grip was severely tight on his shoulders as he started making a mark on his neck.
"Get off of my boyfriend!" Jack shouted, clawing Shawn's arm with his sharp nails.
He let out a small shriek, his eyes turning redder than before.
"Tell me what to fucking do one more time," He growled, pressing his finger to the cut so it would heal and go away.
"Jack ple–"
"Fine, I'll say it again for your dumbass brain. Get the fuck off my boyfriend." Gilinsky tempted to the boy, prepared for when Shawn tackled him to the ground.
Johnson stood in horror as they wrestled, flipping each other multiple times.
"Let go!" He attempted to pry them apart, hissing when he was swiped across the face.
They both suddenly stopped, Shawn's eyes darting to Jack whose eyes were wide. "Oh my god, baby, I'm so-"
"Both of you, pills, now." He gritted, making them both walk away with their heads hung lowly in shame. Neither of them said a word as they each picked up one of the small tablets, deciding to swallow them dry.
They returned to the bedroom where Jack was waiting, reluctantly taking a seat on the bed while the blonde stood in front of them.
"I'm only going to ask once, and one at a time. What was that?" He said sternly, the boys giving each other a nervous look until Shawn spoke up.
"So I needed to– you know– and so, I just took some while we were outside, right? It wasn't a big deal until afterwards Jack tells me he saw someone walking who looked like Brooklyn. And, how I am supposed to explain I'm not gay? Li–"
"You could say, 'I was just experimenting' or something," Shawn glared at Johnson before continuing.
"Anyways, so he said it was no big deal but I want to be friends with her still and stuff and what if she's not into that? Like, me being 'bisexual'? So I told him what if I just sucked on your neck? Like, would it be a dig deal to him? So I did and we fought and here we are."
Jack just nodded, motioning for Shawn to move out of the room.
Once he was gone, the blonde begun speaking.
"Don't worry about it, okay? He's just lost right now, I know it wasn't right, but you shouldn't give into his violence, yeah?" Johnson tried to soothe him, making Jack nod.
From the other side the door, Shawn frowned. what did they mean by he was just lost? Lost on what? His feelings?
No, he was pretty sure he knew he liked her.
Wait, what?
What the fuck did I just think? He tried not to freak out, moving away from the door quickly.
Oh god, he thought, what if I actually like like her? Then what?
He went to his small section of the room. It was barely livable in, almost the size of a pantry under the stairs.
Come to think of it, he felt like Harry Potter a lot. Well, in the sense of that they both had the same amount of personal living space.
He also felt the books were slightly inaccurate to real life wizards. It's fairly close writing for a regular human, but some things were just weird.
Like, out of every food and animal combination, why the chocolate frogs?
Shawn shook away his thoughts as the two Jacks entered the room, once again glancing each other before Johnson spoke up.
"We're sorry about all of this. We know you want to be friends with her, but if she's not okay with anything that's not heterosexual, then you shouldn't hang around her anyways." Shawn slowly nodded.
"Yeah, I just— Yeah. Um, I'm gonna go to bed now. Goodnight, sorry." He mumbled, walking back off and shutting his door.
Today was definitely not his day.
