Goku's POV
Once Trunks and Goten had got settled into bed and gone to sleep, I then decided I should get some rest for now.
I clambered up the stairs, realising I was more tired than I actually thought. Once I had reached the bedroom, Vegeta was already there - but not asleep.
He was laid down with his arms crossed, being covered by the soft blankets. I raised one eyebrow at his strange behaviour and shut the door.
"Keep as far to the edge of the bed as possible. I don't want your body anywhere near me Kakarot" He spat angrily.
I giggled at his resilience and nodded. I climbed onto the bed, instantly feeling warmth. After a while I got too warm. I slipped my Gi off, leaving me shirtless and in my boxers. Not as it mattered, we were both boys.
"What on earth are you doing?" Vegeta asked furiously. Huh?
"I'm warm so I was getting out of my Gi, what did you think?" I replied, dumbfounded.
I found myself falling into a deep sleep, even though it was hot as hell I had a tiring day, so I presumed it was time to call it a night. Vegeta soon followed after.
The next day...
I woke up feeling another body pressing against mine, my arms around their waist. I realised; it was Vegeta. I tensed and I froze, I had no idea what to do. He was clearly still asleep and I checked the time, and decided to have another few hours sleeping, still wrapped in a comfortable embrace around Geta.
Vegeta's POV
I woke up in sheer bliss and comfort - normally I would have sleepless nights, my body aching to find a mate at stupid times in the morning, restricting me from having a decent nights sleep. This was probably the most relaxed I had ever felt. My natural instincts were to follow what felt nice, and I buried my head into whoever was making me feel this way; they had achieved the impossible. My stomach scorched in anxiety and panic, sending waves and shudders of pain as realisation set in. This was Kakarot, shirtless - his arms around me. He had made me feel content. But how? Kakarot wasn't my mate, wouldn't I have known that by now?
