Flash Fiction Shots

Identity

You open the door to the cafe you chose to meet at and the warm shop welcomes you. You then spot your two closest friends sitting in a booth near the back of the cafe. They wave towards you and you walk over to them glancing all around you. When you finally get over there you notice that your girlfriend isn't there, you ask where she is while sitting down. Your friend then replies, signing that she she texted to say she would be a bit late. You frown and wonder why, while also taking your phone out of your pocket turning it on. You remember her saying this morning that she wasn't doing anything. When your phone turns on you realise she did text you but you didn't get it because your phone was off. You push it to the back of you mind not worrying about it. 

You notice then that your two friends are holding hands, you look at them confused and sign asking how long have this been happening before. They reply signing that they decided to make a move last week. You think this is wonderful and you sign that to your friends, they both grin at you and mouth thank you. You then feel your phone vibrate on the table and you pick it up reading the new message. You then get up and sign to your friends that your getting your girlfriend but they were too busy staring into each others eyes to notice. You sigh laughing at them.

You then walk towards the front of the shop and spot her near the counter waiting for you. You also then see that the guy next to her is eyeing her up and down and pointing at her ass to his friends, you feel jealousy and anger build up in your chest and then knock it back down before you get to her. You grab her arm slowly and spin her around, she looks startled but when she realises its you her face goes back to her normal cute one and she smiles, showing dimples. You resist the urge to kiss her right there and sign to her asking where she was and if everythings okay. She looks up to you confused then you sign slower so she can understand. She smiles again and signs back that everythings fine. She then signs to ask where the other are and you sigh mentally. You walk her over to where you friends are and you and your girlfriend sit down side by side. You watch her while she signs hello to the other two, then seeing her eyes travel towards where their hands were entwined. Your friend signs to your girlfriend asking how she is and she signs back that she is all good but she has a surprise for you all. 

You look at her, your face turning into a mixture of confusion and panic. She hadn't said anything to you all day and you wonder what she could be talking out 

Then the whole cafe blows up.
