Leviathins are beasts created by God long before Angels or Humans. As they were too much to handle, God created Purgatory (the place monsters go when they die) and locked them deep therein. It is revealed that Leviathins operate on a form of hierarchy with several of them taking orders from a yet unknown leader. The leader orders several Leviathins to hunt down those who get in their way and those of their kind who have been feeding indiscriminately. Though their true form is yet to be revealed, they appear underwater to be serpents. In a Human vessel, they can dislocate the jaw to reveal a mouth full of large teeth and a twin forked tongue. Leviathins bleed black goo. Their powers include; shapeshifting, regeneration, imperious to silver, super-human strength, invulnerability and immortality. They feed on the flesh of Humans and each other and any weaknesses or ways to kill them have yet to be discovered.
