Chapter 2

You woke up to the feeling of being carried on your crush's back. "Mi-Minato?"

The blonde turned his head slightly to look at your face which was resting on his shoulder. He gave you a warm smile, "welcome back to the world of the living", he joked.

"How long was I asleep?" You yawned and stretched out your arms.

"About four hours. I sent Rin, Kakashi and Obito home for the day and I thought I'd take you back to your house instead of leaving you in a field asleep".

"Oh ahah thanks Minato" you giggled a little and noticed he was still holding you. "Damn hasn't he got arm ache yet?" You thought to yourself.

"You can put me down now if you want I'm probably giving you arm ache" you said nervously with a slight chuckle.

"No not at all my arms are fine. But if you want me to put you down I will"

"I-uhh I don't mi-"

You were cut off by an ANBU ninja appearing in front of the both of you. "(Y/n) (l/n)".

"Yeah that's me, what is it?"

"Lord Third has summoned you to his office concerning that matter. He wants you there immediately".

Minato put you down and the ANBU ninja vanished. The blonde looked over at you and his breath hitched in his throat. The expression that was held on your face was a mixture of horror and pure hatred.

"Bastards" you growled through gritted teeth and a single tear escaped your eye and fell down your cheek. You wiped it away quickly and looked up into Minato's magnificent blue eyes.

"Minato.... I should- how busy are you?" You suddenly blurted out and you mentally slapped yourself but you kept your composure.

"Uhh not very. Why?" He looked slightly confused but replied anyway.

"I want you to come with me. If it's not a problem... You're a reassuring presence..." You mumbled the last part.

"Sure. Of course I'll go with you".

You closed your eyes and let out a huge sigh of relief at his words. "Thank you so much Minato".

"We'd better be off then". He grabbed your arm and dragged you along with him. He knew you weren't going to start walking by yourself.

You stood outside the Hokage's office and took a breath and knocked on the door. You heard a faint 'come in' and you pushed the doors open and walked in with Minato.

The Hokage looked over at you and opened his mouth to protest about Minato being there but you spoke harshly before he could get any words out.

"He's here because I need him here and there's nothing you can say that will make me send him away. Sir". You thought you'd finish with a 'sir' so you didn't sound too bad but you don't think it made much of a difference.

"I presume that you have told Minato about this?" The Hokage clasped his hands together and stared straight at you.

"No sir. Nothing at all".

"Well at least you can follow orders".

You gritted your teeth at his remark and Minato placed his hand on your back telling you to calm down. You took a deep breath and nodded a little.

The third stood up and started to tell you the information. "It's happened again but this time you're really not going to like it". He walked past you "both of you come with me".
