My awana missionary's are awesome. There's Jill and tom. I've been going there since I was 6. I was a sparkie. Now I'm a leader/teacher there.
I think that awanas had helped me learn god more. They've inspired me so much. They helped me learn what a friend was. They've helped me learn what it was like to be loved by god. They've made me a better person.
In November 2015 I got baptized. And to think this was all from awanas. If u guys don't already know awana stands for a workman are not ashamed. Its from 2 timothy 2:15. There's different groups.
For the 0-3 years olds is puggles. Its kinda like a daycare a little bit but in a church. For the 3-4 year olds is cubbies. They start to read a little bit about god. For the 5-8 year olds are sparkies.
Sparkies start talking about god and his stories. They learn to be respectful too. Then this part is kind of confusing. It might not be to you. But the tnt and trek are combined in a classroom.
This is the oldest of them. Then that is when you can become a leader. Which is pretty much a teacher. It can be really fun. It's good knowing you are helping.
I love my awana group very much. Can't wait for vbs this year. There really fun People you will meet.
