"Why are you smiling?" He asked, eyeing me. His eyes were glistening. Glowing. It seemed as if his eyes were smiling.
I bit my lip and looked away. "I'm not smiling."
"Yes, you are." His voice was so deep. Gracious, he gave me serious butterflies. I looked back at him, at the tiny silver chain around his neck. He always wore it. I wondered why.
I shook my head slightly, slowly looking up at him. "Am not." My voice came out so softly. I was nervous. Why was I making it so obvious?
"I've seen you staring at me." He stated, keeping his eyes on me.
"And?" I said involuntarily. A smile appeared on my face. I couldn't help it.
"If I asked you to get in my truck, right now, would you?" He asked curiously.
"Yes."
