J. (Pt 2)

"Where are we headed?" I asked him, nervously. I wasn't nervous because I didn't know where we were going. I was nervous because I was beside him, in his truck.

We have sat beside each other before but around other people. Now it was just us. Alone.

He had the volume down low and his right hand on the wheel. I bit my lip, looking over at him.

Gracious, he looked so good.

"Where do you want to go?" His words were so memorizing. It was that deep voice of his.. It sent chills down my spine.

I laughed slightly. "I'm not the one driving."

He glanced sideways at me, smirking. Like always.

I could've melted right then and there.

"You're right." Suddenly, he turned into an empty parking lot and cut his truck off.

We sat there for a moment in silence and I was beyond nervous. He gave me major butterflies.

I decided to look over at him but as I did, I saw him already leaning in towards me. His hand touched the side of my head, resting on my hair. His sudden action took me by surprise but when his lips met mine, I was relaxed.

I had been waiting for this moment for months.
