the veins that contained blood in my arms grew cold as i observed more of the sight of her.

i licked my lips, ready to open the door so she could get the message.

the rush of footsteps stopped all of my movements.

i stepped back as jimin took
a hold of my waist.

"why is she here?" i asked, looking into his eyes for an answer.

an answer that would
clear my doubts.

"just please go back into my room."

i stood there hesitating.

his eyes showed clear nervousness alongside a worried façade.

i looked down and slightly shifted when the doorbell rang again.

i removed myself from his grip and walked past the hallway up the stairs.

i didn't want to hear the conversation they were due to have.

it was going to make me lose it.

i opened his door and slammed it loudly so that ms. white would get the answer she wasn't looking for.

jimin's pov.

i opened the door, meeting
with jenny white.

i looked behind her.

it was a habit ever since me and savannah started...well.

"jimin!" she exclaimed.

"jenny..." i trailed, taking a quick glance behind me to check if savannah was doing something stupid.

luckily she wasn't.

i returned my attention back
to jenny, waiting for her to explain
why she was on my porch.

she hesitated.

"i wanted to find out if you were free on-"

the loud slam of my bedroom door frightened me and jenny.

i turned back to look.

"i'm sorry, i kind of have company."

i think she got the idea after she saw my exposed chest.

she gasped, her lips parted
in pure shock.

"oh, jesus."

she paused before moving
her head to the side to
avoid any eye contact.

i truly felt sorry for jenny.

all she's been trying to do was hang out with me or something.

"maybe we can talk at work." i said, lifting her hopes a bit.
