jimin's pov.
before i asked her i had to look decent.
i had my sweats on that i came with, leaving my shirt folded on the bed because i was too hot for one.
"savannah."
"they're not mine jimin, how many times-" i cut her off.
"how do you know what i was going to ask?" i asked with nervous laughter.
"okay." she paused what she was occupied in doing and turned to face me.
"proceed." she said with a wave of a hand.
i walked closer to her.
it took everything in me to take her palms in mine and kiss her knuckles softly.
"i just wanted to say.." i paused as my inner self paused with me in the suspension.
"i'm just lucky to have you i guess, you make me really happy."
my inner self slumped in disappointment and shook it's head softly while drowning in caged anger.
she smiled a soft smile with a bite of her lip, turning away to carry on with whatever she was doing.
huh?
"well aren't you lucky to have me?" i asked with a slight giggle as i didn't accept her response of silence.
"shit yeah, jimin i feel the same." she simmered her fingers through her hair, placing a small smile on her face.
i turned her around.
"and i'm gonna be here whenever you feel like no one is." i said.
i cupped her face with my palms and pecked her lips.
at first i could see glimpses of no acknowledgement in her face and i frowned slightly, not getting the gist.
and that was when she leaned in and kissed me, leaving me content.

it's the week of preparation and i can say as a teacher, the seniors are getting restless.
no one is concentrated as usual.
it's the buzz of senior prom and the consistent counting down the days of school.
"i'm considering giving you guys a pop quiz if you don't look 54% interested."
shoulders that were slumped, raised higher and sleeping students awoke by the tap of their peers.
"thank you." i stated before turning around to continue writing what i had been writing before.
the shrill of the bell rang, making me drop the chalk.
i turned around with a semi straight face.
"you are so lucky." i said before waving my hand towards the door.
"you're dismissed."
the quick shuffles of excited feet and loud chatter distributed out of the classroom.
