It's been two weeks since we got to this base and it's horrible. We told everyone we where leaving and they let us they gave us two AK-74s two m16 and over what seemed like 1500000 rounds they also gave us enough food to last for months if we rationed it right. We set off and started down the high way not knowing where we were going we couldn't go back to our old house and risk getting attack by a horde of those freaks. We where going down the high way and it was getting dark so we stopped at a gas station and found a way to get on the roof we hid the Humvee in the gas stations workshop so no one would take it we woke up the next morning to see a kid with emo clothes and emo hair being chased by the freaks we called him up onto the roof and he found a way to get up here. What's your name kid. J....Jasper he panted. Who are u guys he frighteningly look at our guns. I'm Alex sexy girl over is tori my girl friend and the little one is Caleb. And don't worry were friendly don't let the guns frighten you. Where are u headed kid. I got split from my group he said catching his breath your more than welcome to come with us Jasper putting my hand on his shoulder. Smiling he replies yea that'd be great thanks guys. We all smiled at him and we got off the roof and headed to the humvee when Jasper saw it his eyes got Hugh holy crap where'd u get this. Found it I lied. He jumped in and opened the hatch on the top and lol out smiling like a little kid in a candy store. Caleb jumped into the bad and tapped Jasper's leg. I like your hair he said quietly. Jasper looked down and picked Caleb up and put him on the roof of the Humvee thanks kid. So what's your name Jasper curiously asked. Caleb he said sheepishly. Nice to meet you buddy my name's Jasper he said happily. Jasper get Caleb in the Humvee we leaving. Caleb grabs Jaspers and plopped into Toris lap. Jasper stayed in the gunner seat watching for infected we where headed towards the boarder we decided to head to Canada to look for help and a place to stay. Fuck i muttered. What's wrong baby Tori looked at me concerned. We're almost outta gas. Tori looked down with tears in her eyes. I looked at her the looked away and headed towards the nearest gas station. Pulling up I asked Jasper to come with me and left Tori and Caleb in the car. Jasper walked next to me and started talking. I used to live here they always stocked alot of gas in a shack out back. We started to walk around and noticed a group of people watching us. Jasper go back to the Humvee and protect Tori and Caleb. I pulled the m16 off my back and shot the lock off the shack with was stocked all the way to the roof with gas cans. I called out to Jasper and told him to bring the Humvee around and he pull up and we started loading gas in the back I looked around the back of the car and noticed the people moved closer I walk around to the front and pointed the gun at them and they raised bows and I snickered and walked back and finished loading the gas. Once we finished loading all the gas we filled our tank and headed off again. Tori fell asleep half way through the trip I looked over at her peacefully sleeping. Jasper had Caleb in the back talking to him about random stuff. Jasper was good with Caleb he got him to open up a little more. A infected slammed into the side of the car which made tori snap awake she started crying again. I stopped Jasper can u drive. Um yea i took a few lessons ok take the wheel please. Ok cool. I hopped into the black and Tori crawled back there and into my arms. Looking at her I kissed her softly and she looked Me in the eyes and I could see so much pain. Babe she shuddered. Yes I softly asked. I love you and need to talk to you she said softly. After she said that so many things went through my head at once. I don't wanna go to Canada she whispered. Wh I stopped mid sentence when a bullet hit the side of the Humvee Jasper drops into the Humvee with blood sprouting out of his shoulder I gave tori the wheel and grabed bandages and patched him up and got into the gunner seat and opened fire on the group headed for us.
