I wake to a chill creeping up my spine. I sit up suddenly and without thinking shout his name.
"Tobias!"
A black figure in the distance walks towards me until he is under the light. David. The chill that was there before is now replaced with anger. He holds up a syringe, purple if in the light, black in the dark. I squirm wanting to escape, but in seeing that it is pointless I decide to talk instead.
"Why are u doing this?" I shout demanding an answer before he injects me with the strange liquid.
"I had a dream to change the world, a world where everyone is under my control, and trying to find the genetically cured, so I can bring them together and kill them. Then when they are all dead, everyone will be equal, the same. No one will have a greater advantage over anyone else. But u crushed my dream when u came bursting into the lab and reset the serums." He sneers.
"However," a wicked grins spreads across his face. " if your here with me, then I can continue my search and there will be no stopping me."
"So your going to kill me." I state.
"No, I'm going to change you, use you against your own kind. Then after you kill every genetically cured, I'm going to use you against anyone else who might get in my way. " He says so matter of factly, I want to punch him.
"Like hell you will" I say and spit at him. He comes toward me so furiously I thought he would kill me.
He grabs my throat, raises his arm and is about to punch me, when at the last minute he stops, and the fiery look in his eyes die down. Then he walks over to a desk.
" You see this," he holds up a syringe with the liquid in it, "this is d2, a mix between memory serum and the serum used to control the dauntless."
"One shot of this and your done you work for me." He says
I'm about to object when I feel a sharp pain in my neck. And everything and everyone goes black.
