You Don't Even Know

chapter 1

  Hi. I am Kayla Davidson. You ever notice
how beautiful the water is? How amazing it is that birds can fly? Probably not, because you most likely don't pay attention to nature or life. Life is amazing, your lucky to have it. I'm going to tell you about how I understood how beautiful the world is. I am saying my story and I wold appreciate if you listened.

  It was Saturday morning when I woke up to the beautiful sunlight shining through my bedroom window. It felt almost magical as the light of a newcoming day shone and lighting the whole bedroom and it was amazing how something that was just a big ball of fire and helium could be so beautiful.

  Ever since I was 6 years old me and my best friend's Liv which is short fo Olivia and Addie which is short for Addalaide would go to this beautiful island which is not that far from the small town I live in, Mist Rain which is not very perfect but its small cozy and everybody knows each other. Me Addie and Liv would swim out to the island and we would sit under this big cherry blossem tree and talk about natures beauty. Addie and Liv are the only other people I know that understands how the earth is just a mirical.

  We would swim home and rush to change before we got hypothermia or ammonia. Liv reacantly turned 16 she is a year younger then me and and addie. Lately Liv has not been feeling well there were times she could not breathe so she's quarantined in the hospital. Mrs. Caylen always blamed me and Addie for Liv's "fever" she always said that Liv would've been perfectly fine if she hadn't met me and addie. Mrs.caylen is Liv's mother. We weren't supposed to know that Liv was sick but that obviously did not stop us. On Sunday I woke up to my little siblings Michelle and Daxton jumping on my stomach. That's about when I body slammed them on my bed and threatened to throw them of of my belcony.

I called Addie and we decided to go to the blossem. Blossem is what we called the island with the big tree we constantly went to. I knew that I just wanted to get away from my little brother and sister Daxton and Michelle. But Addie also wanted to get away from her little step brothers Harry and Olli. She also wanted to get away from her annoying pregnant, alcoholic older ister Ami. I think that Ami is after actually punching Olli in the mouth.

  Me and Addie were swimming when somthing brushed up against my foot I screamed thinking that it was a shark but when it came out of the water I was no longer afraid, I felt, in love. What came out of the water was a boy. He musf have been a scuba diver because well he was diving. H hat dreamy green eyes and luscious brown hair he was just to die for. He said is name was conner Maxwells. When wi got to the island we saw the sighn, the sighn that just might ruin my life. It said thf in 4 days the isand would be practicality destroyed. Addie began to cry I wanted to cry but conner is really cute I did not wanna seem like a baby. we all went home around 5:32pm and I was almost asleep when I heard "dee doo" that meng that I had just gotten a text it was from addie. The text read"Kayla Liv's got Cancer.
