Break Downs
ANDYS POV
I woke up to the sun illuminating through my white lace curtains blinding my line of vision. Which meant it was time to get up. I let out a breathy pouted sigh followed by rubbing my eyes. I reluctantly sat up leaning over towards my night stand for my glasses, my vision immediately regained and clear. I curled my toes as they came in contact with the cold antique looking hardwood floor, before fully getting out of bed I stretched scratching my head.
I walked over to my window and slid it open letting in the small breeze to refresh my room, it was about eight thirty. Before readying myself for the day I did my usual morning routine I made my bed, but today I changed the sheets. I'm a a bit of a neat freak and every other week I change my sheets. The sheets I placed on my bed were a light shade of blue with pink roses all along them.
After fixing my bed I moved towards my closet deciding what I should wear today. I settled for a white circle skirt, paired with a denim crop top. I laid the clothes on my bed spread leaving them there so I could shower.
Today just felt like it was going to be a good day, as I waited for the water to become the right temperature I brushed all the tangles out of my thick hair. After a moment I stepped in relaxing, it occurred to me that Niall would be home in a week in a half and I still haven't made a decision I quickly shook away the negative thoughts letting the warm water relax my muscles. After a thirty minute shower I let my hair air dry not wanting to damage it with heat, see growing up my mom never let me curl or straighten my hair for no reason. It was always in a braid or I wore it naturally, she said I'd regret damaging my hair. She was right, I rarely used a blow dryer unless I crucially needed it or I was in a hurry.
As I walked down the cold hallway back to my room in nothing but a pale pink towel, Eleanor was sitting in the kitchen eating a bowl of oatmeal.
" Morning El!" She smiled not saying anything due to her full mouth.
My room was chilly now from leaving my window open, but it felt nice. After getting dressed and spraying a leave in conditioner to prevent frizz I put on my sea foam green ruffled socks before placing my floral high top converse.
" You look cute" Eleanor said as she rinsed her dish.
" thanks!" I said making my way over to the cabinets to get a bowl for my breakfast.
" Hey can I borrow your car today?"
She asked as she dried her dish with a small hand towel.
" Yeah I don't need it today, that's fine"
I responded while I scooped up some peach yogurt, and sprinkled granola over it.
" Thank you so much! My car is in the shop today I had to get my breaks checked they keep making a horrid screeching sound whenever I stop."
" No problem" I say as I lean over to place a lemon tea bag in my yellow mug.
" What are you going to do today?"
El asked sitting across from me at the marble counter top.
" Nothing special, I need more Polaroid film and ink for my printer so I'll probably just do that."
She nodded pursing her lips as she said
" Ok well call me if you need me to pick you up, I'll be in town today with Amanda."
I nodded as she left taking my keys out of the ceramic bowl that was placed by the front door.
" thanks again Andy!"
