i wasn't really thinking when i woke up late to school this morning and pulled on a white sweatshirt and forgot to put gauze on my wrist.
as soon as you grabbed my arm to pull me into a hug,
the fresh cuts reopened and red liquid leaked through the fabric,
straight onto your hand.
you looked more than shocked after you pulled me into the bathroom and lifted my sleeves.
you looked so sad.
here i was thinking that this was somehow helping you,
not realizing what i was doing.
how could i be so stupid to think this wouldn't make you disappointed?
