nobody expected jimin to do this.

everyone came to bid goodbye.

the people that harassed him at school after he came out,

the teachers who never cared enough to stop the bullying,

the students who constantly saw him crying but didn't bother to take five seconds out of their days to ask if he was okay,

his parents who managed to put so much overwhelming pressure on him,

the girl who was supposed to make him straight but failed miserably,

his five friends who abandoned him just like everyone else,

the boy he thought was his best friend that unknowingly took away the only good thing he had in his life,

and finally,

the one person he never ever wanted to hurt no matter what;

min yoongi.

sad eyes watched as the green haired boy broke down.

"i'm so sorry jimin, it's all my fault."

he sobbed not caring that everyone was watching.

jimin's mother rubbed his back trying to calm him down.

"you had nothing to do with this, yoongi."

"yes i do! i broke his fucking heart and now he's dead! it's all my fault."

yoongi harshly bit his lip,

trying to stop the tears.

jimin's mother stared at the boy for a couple of seconds before looking away bitterly.

"so, you were the guy he was so in love with he completely threw away our religious values, huh?"

yoongi didn't care what she was saying,

memories were filling his mind.

it wasn't until he felt a tight hug that he came to his senses.

jungkook held the older boy,

feeling just as guilty.

they had something going on between them,

and he got in the way of that.

he loved jimin and he never meant to do this to him.

he didn't know how much he was going to hurt him.

it was the thing jungkook wanted the least.

yoongi stared at the ground, roughly pushing the young boy away from him.

the boy he spent so much of his time playing with was lifeless inside of a coffin,

waiting to be buried in the dirt.

the six friends laughed together as they talked about how they never would have guessed the two would turn out to be gay.

ring ring ring

yoongi sat up to get his phone but was too busy listening to namjoon talk that he didn't care too much about who was calling him.

ring ring ring

yoongi sighed looking at the caller id.

jungkook's happy expression fell from his face as he read it too,

the guilt from what happened that day jimin caught him and yoongi kissing filling his body.

"you should answer him"

jungkook tried to tell the mint haired boy despite the sick feeling in his stomach from being disgusted with hurting his own best friend and still secret crush.

yoongi shrugged his shoulders,

tapping the decline icon and locking his phone.

"i'm sure it's nothing important."

even more tears ran down yoongi's face.

he wanted to go back in time and stay with jimin,

but he couldn't.

he wanted to go back to the day he met him and actually care for him like he should have originally.

it shouldn't have taken jimin to die for him to realize this,

but it did.

spend my love, heart broke

so my love don't show

scared my love, you'll go

too good to be good for me

too bad that that's all i need

these nightmares haunted min yoongi every night after he was informed of the failed suicide attempt from the boy he once cared deeply for.
