Missing - 1

Note: this story is based off of the Murdoch Mysteries episode Rich Boy Poor Boy. Like almost exactly the same but I completely changed up the ending, some of the middle and parts of the set up. Hope you guys like the story. ^~^

Naruto is Hokage now
Boruto: Age 6
Himawari: Age 4

"Mom, can I go play with my friends," Boruto asked.

Hinata looked outside to see the sun was starting to set. "Alright, but come back before dark."

"Okay," Boruto then ran out the door heading towards his friends.

Hinata noticed that it was getting dark. "Himawari has Boruto come home yet," she asked, thinking she had missed him coming in.

"No, why?" Himawari asked in reply.

Hinata was starting to think the worst at first," Stay here, I'm going to go see if he's with his friends. "

"Okay."

Hinata looked around, finding Sarada and decided to ask her. "Sarada have you seen Boruto?"

"No, haven't seen him since we left school."

Hinata started to really worry, she asked anyone else if they had seen him recently. Apparently no one had seen him, only saw him walking towards his friends not paying much attention.

Hinata ran towards the Hokage's office, "Naruto, He's Gone," she said running towards him.

"Who, what are you talking about," Naruto replied, confused with no idea what was going on.

"Boruto, He Didn't Come And No One Has Seen Him."

"Alright come down, I know your worried. But he could have run off, he maybe in the forest. I'll go look for him," Naruto started heading out. Shikamaru helped him, overhearing everything.

Hinata went home, worrying herself sick. Himawari had no idea what was going on," Mommy, where's Boruto? "She asked.

Hinata knew she would have to tell her sometime, "Well, he's gone missing; we don't know where he is right now."

"When will he come back?"

"Anytime now," Hinata was now holding back tears.
