Lily's POVA small smirk formed onto my lips, not allowing my confidence to keel from everyone who was staring at us. Through their eyes we were titled, 'fresh meat'. They think we're easy targets since we're only mere rookies, inexperienced compared to those who've taken this test more than once.
"This is going to be tough." I stated. My team looked at me oddly. "I like tough.."
"Oh Sasuke!" A very annoying voice squealed. It was Ino, the girl who I could never get along with. I never really had anything against fangirls, I just tried to avoid getting bulldozed when they would chase Uchiha. Ino, though, there's a reason I didn't particularly like her. When we were in the Acadamey, we could never get along.
The blonde girl wrapped hers arms around the Uchiha's shoulders. "I missed you so much my big, strong man!" I gagged at the sight that laid before my eyes, and Naruto rolled his eyes at the girl.
"Get off of him Ino-pig!" Sakura screamed, glaring at the said pi- I mean girl. "He's mine!"
"Oh Sakura, I can't believe they let you and your big forehead in here." Ino retorted, smirking mockingly.
"You guys are here too?" A, oh so familiar voice drawled in. "This is going to be such a drag."
"Is there anything that dosen't bore you, Shikamaru?" I rolled my eyes halfheartedly. Him and I were always great friends. Sometimes when I was bored and didn't feel like doing anything, we would slack off together in the Acadamey.
"Clouds." He answered, shoving his hands lazily into his pockets. "Sleeping, laying down..."
"So anything that has to do with being lazy." I sweat dropped. "Pretty much." He nodded. Soon Choji came, munching on a bag of chips. He and I were cool. It was fun hanging out with Choji. Once I moronically challenged him to a food eating contest.... It did not turn out well for me.
"Oh so all the Three Stoogrs are here!" Naruto joked. I laughed along with him.
"Will you quit calling us that, you lit-... You know what forget it." The lazy Nara gave up.
"Wow, way to finish what you started." I said sarcastically.
"I guess all ten rookies are here." A new voice enetered the conversation. It was Kiba with his team. Hinata, and Shino."This exam is going to be so fun... Well, atleast for those of us who can make the cut, huh Sasuke?"
"Careful, don't get to overconfident there Kiba." Sasuke smirked, the two boys showing off their oversized egos.
"They shouldn't let dogs go around without a leash." I said, crossing my arms.
"Don't talk about Akamaru like that, Yoshida." He snapped.
"Oh no Kiba, Akamaru's just fine. I was speaking of the idiot he's sitting on." I quipped staring at the white dog that sat on top of his head.
"Nice to know you still have that smart mouth of yours." He smirked. "You're both just all talk, my team is going to blow this exam away.. We've been training like crazy."
"And what do you think we've been doing all this time?! Sitting around and picking daisies?!" Naruto yelled. "You don't even the know the real meaning of training!"
"I-I'm sure h-he d-didn't m-mean anything b-by it." Hinata stuttered trying to relieve some of the tension.
"Huh?" Naruto said dumbly stairing at the now blushing girl. I facepalmed.
