(Name)'s POV

I shouldn't have. I shouldn't have developed feelings for them in the first place. It was my own fault. I was stupid.

They only saw me as a friend. Nothing else.

Why did I even try?

It was clear enough they both were extremely in love with Aphmau.

"(Name)? Are you okay?" Garroth asked knocking on my door.

"Yeah. I'm fine." My voice sounded strained from all the crying.

"Are you sure? You sound like you're crying..."

"I said I'm fine. Please leave me alone." But the truth was I wanted him to be here with me.

"I'm here for you (Name). If you need anything I'm here. You are one of my best friends after all." Even though I can't see his face I knew he was smiling. But on the other side of the door I was crying my eyeballs out for him.

His best friend. That's what I am. And what I will always be.

After weeping in my bedroom. I relieved myself and started to head towards the town square.

"Hey! (Name)!" A familiar voice called out. I turned around to see a face with deep blue eyes.

"Hey Laurance." I instinctively looked down at my feet.

"Something wrong?" He asked concerned.

"Nope. I'm all good. Did you want something?"

"Just checking up on you. We haven't really had a conversation after that night." Laurance blushed.

"Thanks for coming here with me, (Name)."

"No problem!" You smiled. You thought he was going to tell you about his feelings like every other girl fantasizes about her crush. But that wasn't going to happen.

"I have to get this off my chest and tell someone other then Garroth and Dante."

"Okay?" You stared into his green eyes eagerly waiting for the secret he was going to tell you.

"I'm in love with Aphmau."

It was like after hearing those five words your heart stopped and cracked into two.

"...heh...i-it wasn't that s-surprising..." You faked a smile. Though you wanted to tell him about your feelings you didn't want to be a burden.

"Yeah that night. Sorry. I've just been busy with..my schedule."

"Oh? Really? Whenever you're available we should hangout again. Like the good times." His smile was so sweet.
