Laurance X Shy!Reader | Beach Day!

Before anyone comments, I'd like to explain that before Travis came along in the storyline, Laurance was the casanova of the show, so please do not comment "Is it act-like-Travis day?" Or "Travis influenced him".

Third Person POV

This was the first time, you and Laurance ever got to go to the beach together. That meant, this was the first time he was going to see you in a bathing-suit. You were really nervous since he was a flirt, and he would probably tease you about your swimsuit.

"Oh my god, Katelyn! Do I look alright?!" (Name) squeaked.

"For the last time, (Name). Yes, you do. Can we get going now?" Katelyn rolled her eyes.

"Katelyn, I'm really nervous!"

"What's there to be nervous about?" Katelyn asked in a bored manner.

"Laurance! I'm scared he's going to think I look weird in my swimsuit or he thinks I'm ugly or just something happens..." (Name) trailed off. Katelyn grabbed (Name)'s cover up and threw it at her face.

"Hurry up."

"And like Laurance is always joking and teasing with me, so I'm going to have to hear all his comments and..." (Name) continued to ramble on as she put on her cover up clothes. Katelyn rolled her eyes and grabbed (Name) by the collar and dragged her out of the house and into the car.

_-Time Skip-_

Katelyn pulled into a parking spot and turned off the engine.

(Name) took a deep breath.

"(Name), you're so overracting...I know Laurance is a weirdo sometimes but I'm pretty sure he's going to think you look good in your swimsuit." Katelyn reassured. (Name) sighed.

"Thanks Katelyn." (Name) smiled.

Katelyn and (Name) walked side by side as they walked to the meet up spot on the beach. In the far distance, the two could see Garroth and the guys setting up the tent and the other girls munching on snacks.

(Name)'s heart started beating faster as the two got closer to the tent, she could see that Laurance's back was facing them, it gave her a little more relief.

"Katelyn! (Name)!" Aphmau shouted, she smiled and waved at the two. The boys all turned their heads towards the two. (Name) blushed as she was Laurance turn his head.

"Stay cool, (Name)." Katelyn nudged her best friend in the side.

"R-Right...I'll just say it's too hot outside or...something." (Name) giggled.

"Heeeeeey Katelyn~." Travis ran up to Katelyn and greeted her.

"Go away, Travis." Katelyn groaned.

"(Name)!" Laurance waved over. (Name) slowly walked over to where Laurance was chilling and sat down next to him.
"Are you okay?" Laurance asked, his voice laced with worry.

"Huh?"

"Your face is all red. Are you already that hot?" He questioned.

"I-I guess so, I mean it is pretty hot out today." (Name) pressed her hands against her forehead, feeling her hands cool down her skin a bit.

"Do you want to go in the water to cool down?" Laurance offered, trying his best to aid her.

"I don't know..." (Name) hesitated.

"Come on, I think it'll help out." Laurance got up from the ground and held out a hand to (Name). She reluctantly let Laurance pull her up. "You'll have to take that off though."

"What?"

"That." Laurance pointed to her cover up. (Name) blushed, her hand scrunched it up at the bottom. She looked down at the sand before she saw Katelyn in the corner of her eye mouthing, 'Get over it!'. (Name) took a deep breath as she slowly raised it over her head and tossed it onto Laurance's beach towel. He took a step back looking up and down at his girlfriend. "Woah..."

(Name) subconsciously tried to cover her exposed stomach with her arms. "D-Does it look bad..?" She timidly asked.

"What? No!! You look amazing. I think it really suits you!" Laurance genuinely smiled. "C'mon, let's go cool off." He lead her to the water, Travis did the same with Katelyn, but he tried to splash her a little bit and she in-turn kicked him alllll the way over the horizon.

"Poor Travis, he just wanted to have fun." Garroth chuckled.

"Don't do that to me, please." Laurance jokingly said to (Name).

"Don't worry, I'm not as strong as Katelyn, over here." (Name) giggled. They slowly walked deeper into the water, it was now up to (Name)'s hips. "Eeeee! It's so cold."

"You'll get used to it, let's put a little bit of water on your face so it doesn't feel like it's burning, okay?" Laurance dipped his hand into the cold ocean water and then placed his hands on each of (Name)'s cheeks. He rubbed her cheeks with his thumbs trying to cool down her scarlet red face. Her face looking up staring into Laurance's beautiful eyes. "Heh, you're so cute when you look at me like that."

"Ahhh, it was on accident. I didn't mean to stare."

"I'm sure you didn't." Laurance slowly leaned forward and planted a firm kiss on (Name)'s lips. Garroth and Vlyad cheered Laurance on from the shore. (Name) smiled when she heard everyone else cheering as well.

"Get a room!" Zane yelled. Everyone else looked at him and glared.

"Pretty romantic, huh?" Laurance teased.

"Yeah, definitely know how to woo me." (Name) smiled.

"You're so cute! I just want to hug you to death." Laurance said as he closed the gap between the two and hugged his girlfriend tightly. He wrapped his arms around her and began to shake her from side to side. She giggled endlessly.

"They are so adorable!!" Aphmau exclaimed.

"Yeah, I'm happy for them..." Garroth replied. The two looked over at each other and both slowly leaned in...

"GUYS I MADE IT BACK!!" Travis exclaimed as he washed up on shore.

Long time no update huh?
Welp here ya go. I'm trying to write more...sort of. I've just been really like out of my usual self, I mean I guess I can tell you guys. I've just been a little sad? I'm trying to be a happier person for my myself and my boyfriend. I want to use writing as a way to distract myself from bad thoughts :)
