"I'm not sure if that's a good idea, Mere," Eva said, scratching her head. She had been rummaging through some boxes.

"Come on, Eva," Mere insisted. She sat up and her cold towel fell into her lap. "I feel fine, and I know exactly where the party is!"

Eva shook her head and stuck her head out of a box she had been looking through. "What would Bethers think of it?"

"She'd be happy she had her girls to back her up," Mere said, smiling mischievously. "So come on." Mere set her phone down and ran upstairs.

Eva groaned and stood up. "Oh, Meredith," she said to herself. But she had no choice than to get excited for it. What was going to go wrong after all?

Upstairs, Mere was doing her normal makeup look, but with a touch of glitter. She had already put on a crop top and a skater skirt, eager to get to the party fast. Mere didn't like the idea of Bethany going to a party with that guy who she hardly knew. She quickly took her hair out of the braid it had been in and messed with it, to make it look effortless.

Mere ran to the staircase and grinned as she sang, "I'm reeeaaadyy!" As she got downstairs, she saw Eva grabbing her bag.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm ready too," Eva said. She turned around and smiled at Mere.

"That's the spirit!" Mere replied, hip bumping Eva as she walked to the front door. She had her purse in her hand, more prepared than ever. Eva joined her and together they walked to Kian's house.

"Two houses down," Mere mumbled, to herself. She was looking down, mesmerized by the click of her sandals.

"It's this one," Eva said, pointing to a big house with about a dozen cars in the driveway.

Mere looked up and nodded. "I can practically hear the music through the walls!" She jumped up and down and let out a small squeal before proceeding to their front door.

They tried to ring the doorbell, but it was so loud, no one heard. Mere just barged in, too impatient to keep knocking. As they spilled in, nobody noticed. The house was filled with dozens of people, and most of them were surrounding something.

"What's happening?" Eva asked, shouting over the music. She squinted against the flashing lights.

"I have no idea," Mere said, but Eva didn't hear her. Mere started to push through the crowd, and stopped close to the front. A few people were sitting in a circle, a bottle in the middle. Someone pushed against Mere, and a small rush of fear passed over her, until she saw it was Eva.

"What the -," Eva started to say, but she realized what was going on. They both looked at each other, then at the circle. A couple just pulled back from what looked like was a passionate kiss. Until Mere and Eva figured the pair was just drunk, and that they wouldn't remember it the next day.

Then, a tall, buff guy stood up. His hair was pulled into a bun, and his jaw was clenched, making his features stand out. He kind of reminded Mere of Zayn Malik. Mere couldn't help but feel attracted to him.

"Alright! This amateur game of Spin the Bottle is getting way too boring!" He boomed, as he picked up his shot cup and took a big gulp. The people in the circle cheered, and fists were pumping.

"Eva! We need to find Bethany, and make sure she's safe," Mere screamed, struggling to get Eva's attention over the music. Eva nodded and grabbed Meredith's hand, so they won't lose each other. As they were pushing through the crowd, someone had stumbled in front of Meredith, and Eva's and Mere's hands were disconnected.

"Hey! Excuse y -," Mere stopped as she looked up. It was the guy who had been surrounded by everyone. She shivered, seeing him up close gave her goosebumps.

"Hello, sweetheart," he hissed, the smell of vodka clear in his breath. The feeling of attraction towards him quickly disappeared in Mere. "Up for a game of catch?" He smirked, and his eyes sparked with lust.

"No, thanks," Mere tried finding Eva, but she was gone. Then, she was grabbed back and she gasped.

"Well... Too bad options aren't available," he purred, and dragged her to the center. All eyes were on her and the guy looked proud.

"What's your name?" He asked, licking his lips. Meredith stared at him, with wide eyes. She started to shake.

"Meredith," she squeaked. The guy gazed back at her, looking down to her cleavage. She suddenly wished she had brought a sweater to cover up.

"I'm Nick," he said. "But we don't need introductions for this game, now that I think about it." He grinned wickedly. Mere started to turn around and run back to where she had last seen Eva, but Nick caught her and clutched her by the waist.

"I'm afraid we aren't playing cat and mouse," he whispered into her ear. "I always catch them by the tail anyway." Mere looked back at him, ready to collapse of fear. She felt helpless. He smirked and let go.

"Before we start, someone hurry and get sweet little Meredith a drink," he thundered to the circle of people. "Extra strong, please." A girl, short and stubby, scurried away to the kitchen. Nick winked at Meredith, and she shivered.

The girl hurried back and handed a red cup to Mere. The look in the girl's eyes was mischievous, and it made Mere shake even harder. She didn't take the drink, but Nick shoved it into her hands. "Take a sip, and we'll proceed," he said, taking a seat on a couch. He kicked his feet up and laid back, looking bored and impatient.

Mere refused, and tried giving the drink back to the girl, but the girl pushed the cup to Meredith's mouth, forcing her to drink. As the cold liquid reached her tongue, she was ready to spit it back in. It tasted like chemicals, a strong mix of alcohol. But she was forced to swallow. Mere immediately felt dizzy, and the feeling added to her rising worry.

"Good girl," Nick said, clapping as he jumped up. The girl had sitten back down, going about the night, like nothing ever happened. "Let's start!" Meredith took a seat between two girls, who looked surpringly calm. She couldn't stand without wanting to faint.

Nick sat down next to a guy with dark brown skin, and a girl who didn't look interested at all. The guy with the dark skin spun the bottle, chuckling. It landed on the girl who had forced Mere to drink the liquid. The guy rubbed his hands together and licked his lips.

The flashing lights and pounding music started giving Mere a major headache as the drink continued to kick in.

"I'll give you 5 minutes," Nick said and pointed to the closest room. "Have fun." He smirked as the two stumbled to the bedroom door. They were laughing, and quite drunk.

"Your turn, sweetie," Nick gestured to Mere and grinned. Mere shook her head and covered her torso. She took another swig of the drink in the red cup, in attempt to sooth her dry throat. It only made her more lightheaded, but it gave her a sweet buzz she wanted more of.

Mere smiled and took a bigger gulp of the liquid. She giggled and reached foreward to give the bottle a spin. Nick stared at her, amused. Mere looked up at him, and giggled even harder. She struggled to keep still as the bottle came to a stop. She took another sip of the liquid as her vision blurred. She gave in, and slouched onto her back, still giggling. The bottle had stopped, but she didn't know who it landed on until Nick's voice echoed through her head. "I get 10 minutes with you." She heard before she shut her eyes and all went black.
