Since Hayden didn't tell me what we were going to do, I was just dressed in my jeans and a loose shirt with some comfortable flats that matched my shirt. I wasn't one for dressing up like I said this isn't going to last long so he should see me for who I am.

Madison came back to the room dressed in one of her skimpy black dresses that fitted her body perfectly, she was probably going out with Joshua. He was probably taking her to a fancy restaurant, he only did it for one reason, but, Madison didn't care at all she was very willing.

Madison gave me one of those 'you look like a hobo' look shaking her head as she didn't approve of my outfit, it's me wearing it, not her. She can dress up all she likes, I would much rather look like a pumpkin.

"Are you for real Dawn Gabrielle Mendes?"

"No one calls me that except for my mom."

"Maybe if your mom saw how you dressed, she would call you that as well."

"This is how I am going, and that's final."

"Poor Hayden. What if he takes you out to a fancy restaurant and here you are dressed like a hobo mixed with a pigeon."

"Well, he asked me out, and he didn't tell me where we are going, so I dressed comfortably so keep quiet. Not everyone can pull off the hooker look like you." That's the way we talked to each other if someone just by accident came into our room right now they would think that Madison and I were fighting.

"Enjoy your date tonight and try to get some action afterward. I know what I will be doing after my date with Joshua." She made some sexual move and left the room; she can be so gross if she wants to be.

I grabbed my bag from my bed and draped it over my shoulder, leaving the room with my head held high. I just hope that Hayden has something great planned otherwise halfway through the date I would come up with some excuse to leave.

I haven't been on a date for over three years because I wasn't interested in dating anyone like I said I had my reasons. Love wasn't something that I was interested in it was like a piece of gum when you chew, it is fun, but after a while, you get tired and spit it out. That's the same with a relationship you get so used to the person, and then you both just give up or just one of you decide that it's the end.

When I finally stepped out of the building, the first thing I did was look up at the stars. I think tonight they are brighter than ever if only I could be a star even if it was just for one day.

My phone started vibrating in my bag, and I took it out to see that it was only Madison, she probably wanted to tell me about what a great time she was having.

"Remember to give him a chance and try not to be rude. You know what, don't be you at all be someone else for once."

What does it mean don't be yourself if I am not myself who am I going to be then? Does Madison believe that something is going to happen between Hayden and me? He is a rugby player, I don't date boys like him, and actually, I don't date at all. I will start dating one day if they can find a cure for cancer and as I can see it, it's not going to happen soon.

I placed my phone in my bag, and when I looked up, he was already standing there waiting for me dressed in a pair of jeans and a blue shirt that matched his eyes. I wasn't the only one dressed like a hobo, he was also dressed comfortably.

I walked up to him, and the smell of his cologne made me sneeze almost immediately, I didn't tell him that since I tried to be polite like Madison said, I shouldn't be rude to him, I should try and be friendly which is not one of my strong points in life.

"Are you okay, Dawn?"

"Yeah, I will be just allergic that's all."

"For what if I may ask? Sorry if I keep asking stupid questions I just want to get to know you that is all."

Think Dawn think you can't tell him it's his cologne or maybe I should then he would go running for the hills, and I would never have to see him again the end of a beautiful love story.

"Dust and trees." What a stupid answered, I facepalmed myself because I couldn't come up with something better.

"Okay, then I will try to keep you away from them tonight." If only he could keep himself away from me, then I would stop sneezing. I just hope I get used to the smell before the night ends as I get a feeling this is going to be one long night.

"Are you ready for our first date?"

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise you got to wait and see."

"You can't do this to me."

"Just follow me, you can ask questions later."

I did as I was told and followed him to I don't know where, but the way he was walking had me convinced that I was going to be slaughtered around the corner.
