The fateful day was actually like any other. But at the laboratory, one scientist decided he would prank the others. The scientist stuffed the inside of the hydron collider (the machine that was making black holes) with paper and packing peanuts. At the same time, another scientist was trying to figure out the perfect way to create a black hole, so it would visible long enough for proof that the machine had worked.
Once the scientist figured out how, he rushed to the laboratory to test the hydron collider. This is where the problems began. The hydron collider HAD to have all objects moved away from the black holes so they couldn't gain enough mass to grow and feed off material. So when the scientist created the black hole, it instantly grew off the paper and packing peanuts that was around it. After the black hole destroyed the science loboratory, it sunk down into the Earth's core.
All around the planet, there was instant changes. Gravity became much stronger, putting twice as much pressure as it normally did on humans and everything else. Flimsy buildings were toppled and crushed. Over a period of time, the southern hemisphere was almost completely vaporized. Tons of people poured into the north, and soon, population became a problem. Crime was increasing, and food was running low. It was the beginning of the end.
