Chapter 1

"Jungkook, please stay."
Said person glanced at their manager in surprise before setting his bag back down. Jungkook and his hyungs had just finished dance practice and had been getting ready to walk back up to their dorms.
"The rest of you can go."
The group hesitated, but started to leave at the clear dismissal their manager, Jogguk, gave them.
"Is there something wrong sir?" Jungkook asked nervously, wondering if he was in trouble.
Jogguk gave him a long stare before saying, "There's something we need to talk about."
Jungkook's anxiety went through the roof in that moment. He had always felt insecure about being in the band as he was the youngest and felt replaceable. 'At least the band isn't here to see me get fired.'
"It seems that all the fans are starting to notice something. We're getting many comments saying that you are getting too fat and your performances are getting worse."
Jungkook stared, seeming shocked, but Jogguk just continued on.
"Therefore you are going to start on a new diet that completely excludes any type of sweets or fattening foods and will need to exercise 7 days a week. You also need at least 3 more hours of practicing than the rest of the band per day."
Jungkook was so shocked that all he could do was mumble a 'yes, sir' before heading up to the dorms. Along the walk there, he couldn't help but wonder if maybe the fans were right. He decided then to make a lot of effort to become better, if only for their fans.

That night as everyone was getting ready to sit down and eat, Jungkook was worried about what to do. He had already eaten breakfast and lunch so he couldn't eat dinner if he wanted to lose weight. He decided to try and hide out in their room and hope that no one would come looking for him. Though deep down he knew that it would not work, they were already worried about him since he wouldn't tell them what Jogguk had wanted. Sure enough, Seokjin comes walking into their room telling Jungkook that it was time for dinner.
"I'm not that hungry, hyung."
Seokjin frowned slightly before saying, "But you need to eat to grow all big and strong."
Jungkook blushed at that, it was a long-term joke where his hyungs would tease him saying to eat his vegetables and drink milk since he was the maknae and still growing.
"I'm really not that hungry, I promise I'll come get food later hyung."
Seokjin sighed before saying, "Okay, but make sure you eat later."
Jungkook watched him head back to the dining room, heard everyone asking about him and Seokjin explaining.
As Jungkook laid there, he realized just how hard it was going to be to lose weight. He shared a room with all 6 members, and Namjoon and Seokjin believed strongly in doing things together, like meals and practicing. They also almost never leave him alone seeing as he's the youngest in the group.
A little bit later the rest of the boys started to get ready for bed. To save time they often took showers together to finish faster. Jungkook started to panic, he didn't want to shower with another member and have them see how fat he was. He really hoped he wouldn't be paired with Jimin because he had the perfect body and great abs.
Luck seemed to be slightly on his side, though not much, because Jungkook got paired with Yoongi. The only person that would have been worse than Jimin was Yoongi. That was mainly because Jungkook has been crushing on Yoongi for as long as he can remember. It started off as simple admiration, with Yoongi being older and a great rapper, but Jungkook soon realized that he had started to see him differently. He got embarrassed whenever the rapper would talk to him or touch him.
They never really showered together because Yoongi and Jimin were always paired off. Jungkook felt a sudden tightness in his chest, as if he couldn't breathe. Yoongi would be spending the whole time comparing Jungkook to Jimin and would realize how fat and unattractive Jungkook really was. 'He'll never want someone as grotesque as you.'
"Jungkook?"
The singer was brought out of his thoughts to see all of his band members staring at him.
"Hmm? Sorry, I zoned out," Jungkook said sheepishly.
Namjoon stared at him strangely before repeating his question, "I said, is it okay if you and Yoongi shower last."
"Yeah, of course, I don't mind as long as Yoongi-hyung is okay with it."
Everyone glanced over at the rapper who nodded showing that it's okay. Seokjin went to shower first by himself, then Namjoon and Taehyung, then Jimin and Hoseok, and finally Jungkook and Yoongi.
Jungkook soon regretted saying it was okay, because as time crept by, he could feel himself getting more and more nervous. Finally it was their turn and they headed into the bathroom. Yoongi immediately turned on the water and started to undress before hopping into the rapidly warming shower. Jungkook took a lot longer to undress and get in, feeling overly shy and insecure. As they washed themselves Jungkook noticed how Yoongi kept looking at his thighs and stomach before inching away.
Jungkook wanted to cry, thinking that Yoongi was judging him and was too disgusted to be near him. Little did he know, Yoongi was having some contradicting thoughts. He couldn't help but stare at Jungkook's body, noticing for the first time how much Jungkook has grown up. Yoongi felt disgusted with himself for having such thoughts about the maknae and shifted away from him so as to not do anything inappropriate.
Jungkook, thinking that Yoongi was disgusted with him, finished showering quickly before hopping out and tossing on some boxers for sleep. Yoongi shocked at how quickly the maknae moved, rushed to finish, and soon the two were heading into their room where everyone else was already laying down.
Hopping onto his bed, Jungkook laid down facing away from Yoongi to stare at the wall. It felt like hours before he managed to fall asleep, worrying about his new diet and how he was going to last the day without making anyone suspicious.
