We were all at the dinner table. Shana made her famous lasagna.
"Mmm this is better than I remember!" I commented while everyone was chewing down on their food.
After like 10 minutes everyone had finally finished.
"Why don't you guys show Marina the rest of the house while I catch up with Laura." Shana said while she gathered the dishes.
"Follow me!" Jazzy said with excitement running up the stairs.
They showed me their rooms, the mini studio they had and their fitness room.
"Your house is huge" I nudge Devin on the shoulder trying to break the ice. It really has been a long time since we've seen each other. The facts that he definitely glew up isn't helping either.
After the tour we all gathered in the room the boys stay in when they're over .
"Marina do you have a nickname?" Daniel asked.
"Not really, just Mar for short I guess"
"How about beautiful" Kevin joined in on the convo. I couldn't see my self but I could tell I was as red as a tomato. He was just so flirty and charming, not to mention funny. Totally my type. I'm not sure I'm ready to move on quite yet though.
"You can call Kev ramen noodles" Devin barged in, everyone laughed. I assumed he said that because the top of his hair was dyed blonde.
"I prefer thug Jesus" Kevin said all confident. After, they all rolled their eyes Lexi finally spoke up.
"Do you still dance?" She asked me. I remember we'd all enter in talent shows and what not together. I was quite the super star.
"I mean just in my room, after you guys left I stopped performing for some reason" I replied.
"That's a shame, I recall you being really good" she smiled at me.
"You should come by the studio with us sometime" Daniel nudge me on my shoulder. I smiled at the idea.
They all were asking me questions non stop. Then Kevin spoke up after being quiet for awhile.
"So you single?" Everyone sighed.
"Yes, well just recently. Me and my boyfriend decided it'd be best if we ended things before I left. I still care a lot for him"
"How long were you two together?" Jazzy asked.
"About 6 months"
"That's just as long as dev has been with Trionna." Lexi stated. I wasn't aware he had a girlfriend. I noticed he looked nervous, as if he was ashamed or something.
"The rest of us are happily single" kev said all smiley.
After chatting up a storm the girls brought me to lexis room. Jazzy pulled out her phone while Lexi sat down and turned to me.
"Sorry if Kev made you feel uncomfortable" she said. I had no clue what she was talking about though.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Oh my goodness Mar, he's totally digging you. He wouldn't stop staring at you" she rolled her eyes.
I started playing around with my necklace. It's a habit I do when I'm either nervous .
"Don't get gassed or anything, he does that with everyone" she continued.
I quickly slapped my hands down to my side. She's right, it should be gassed. I shouldn't be nervous. Why would I care, I don't like him. I can't, that'd be so awkward. Plus what if Jake hasn't moved on yet (jake is my ex from back home). I'd feel so bad if he found out. Kevin needs to stay away.
"Marina, Shana said you could sleep over if you like" my mom shouted from down stairs. Of course I wanted to stay, so I headed downstairs to say goodbye to my mom.
"I still have lots to unpack so I'm just gonna head home, thank you for making dinner" she thanked Shana after giving me a hug.
"No problem! You're always welcome, and I'm sure Lexi has clothes marina can borrow" Shana replied.
The rest of the night I left the boys alone and spent it bonding with the girls. We made lots of musical.lys and trillers. It felt good to have them back in my life. We joked about the stupid things we did when we were younger. Around 12ish I dozed off.
Dev POV
2:00 am
Me and the guys were just goofing off as usual. Trying some new flips on the mattresses.
"It's not as easy for me!" Daniel yelled at us because we kept laughing at him.
"It's not as easy for me!" Kev mocked him in this accent he does 24/7.
We chilled for a bit and put on fresh prince of bel air as we were on our phones. Kev spoke up out of nowhere.
"At first I totally thought you might of have had a thing for marina but then Lexi kindly reminded all of us you have a girlfriend, don't tell Trionna I forgot about her " he chuckled then continued.
"So that means there wouldn't be a problem if one of us were to like her, right dev?" He raised an eyebrow.
Yes I'm dating Trionna, and yes I care about her but I also care about marina and I don't want Kevin to hurt her, he's known for that shit. It feels like I barely know her because it's been a couple of years, but at the same time I feel like I know everything about her. I don't know what is going on in my head. All I know is that I don't want Kevin to hook up with marina.
"There's no problem." I finally replied knowing I was lying. He smiled at me and went back on his phone.
