It was Thursday and I was on my way to the studio for their drop in class.
"Bye mom, sharis going to drive me home so I'll see you later tonight" I said getting out of the car. When I got inside I walked over to where Shari was stretching.
"Hey girl" she greeted me.
"Hey, what's up" I replied getting ready.
"Nothing much, really tired though" she said falling to her butt.
"Kevin kept me up late writing and playing his guitar. Don't get me wrong I'm really proud of him there's just a time and place for everything, ya feel? Plus he knew I had to get up early" I didn't know Kev wrote his own music. Kind of inspiring and a bit of a turn on. Ugh I need to stop.
"Ya I feel" I finally said.
"I'm glad he's focus on his music instead of getting into trouble with dugs and gangs. Now all he needs to do is stop fooling around with girls. He needs himself a great respectful girl. Like y-you!" Did Shari just suggest I go for her brother or am I tripping?
When I glanced at the door I saw a familiar face walk in. It was the girl from dunkins Daniel wouldn't stop drooling over! I decided to go introduce myself.
"Hey I'm Marina, I'm pretty sure my friend asked for your number the other day"
"D-Daniel?" She blushed.
"Yea him" I smiled at her.
"He's a really sweet guy" she said while changing her shoes. I could totally tell she was feeling him.
"I'm Melissa by the way" she said while shaking my hand.
"You said your names marina?" I nodded as clarification then she continued.
"I facetimed Daniel the other day and, Kevin I think his name is wouldn't stop mentioning you, asking when you were going to be around. You guys seem cute together." I was gassed until she said the last part then I blurted out laughing.
" we're not together"
"Oh well you should be" I just rolled my eyes at her.
We gathered with Shari as Trey got everyone's attention.
"Ok listen up. Most of you are already aware that I'm the choreographer for the Bomb Digz. Anyways they've asked if I could pick some back up dancers for their up coming tour. There for, I'd like you guys to get in to groups of 3 and make a routine to Fifth Harmonys new song Work From Home. In a week you'll present the dance to everyone. The boys will be present but won't have a say in who I choose."
It was clear me Melissa and Shari were going to work together. Melissa and I were super excited. Shari on the other hand not so much.
"When you're already a preformer for the tour" she sighed.
"Stop bragging" I lightly punched her shoulder.
"Nah I'm sure this will be fun though" she smiled at us.
"Maybe Thursday we could get together and rehearse" Shari suggested . We all agreed.
On my way home in the car with Shari we were jamming to some old Beyoncé.
"I just wanna dance for you" she sang her lungs out.
"Thanks for the ride, I'll text you later." I said getting out of her car."
We were already getting along so well. To bad she's related to Kevin. I had a feeling id be seeing her lots which means I'll also see him. The more I see him the more I develop feelings.
