Artemis's POV
I took off to the river to talk to Percy but by the time I got there it was dark so I told Percy that I wanted to talk to him on my chariot. Okay that is fine Artemis. So I teleported us to my chariot. Percy I want you to tell me something and I want you to tell me the truth OK? Okay what is it Artemis? Percy do you love me? Please be honest with me this is really important to me.
Percy's POV
Yes Artemis I do but do you love me? Yes Percy I do! Without thinking I leaned over in my seat and kissed Artemis at first she didn't respond but after a few seconds she started to kiss me back so I grabbed her waist and she put her arms around my neck we kissed for at least 30 minutes before we broke apart so we could breathe. Artemis I didn't realize that you liked me or I would have said something sooner. Hey I'm going to head back to camp to protect the hunters!I'll see you later, and with that I shadow traveled out of there.
Thalia's POV
Phobie how dare you! How dare I what Thalia? How dare you tell Percy that! I had every right to he's just like the rest..... She never finished what she was going to say because I shot here with a bolt of lightning knocking her a good 6 feet back. I was now sparking with blue electricity. Phobie I swear if he doesn't come back I will kill you! Thunder roared in the background.
Phobie's POV
I am sorry Thalia I will try to be nicer to him. You know maybey you should tell him your sorry phobie, Because if he doesn't forgive you Artemis will kick you out of the hunt OK? I will I just hope he will forgive me for what I did I said crying!
Percy's POV
I felt this strong presence coming from behind the hunters camp so I ran to where the hunters were.
Hunters listen up there is a strong presence coming towards us prepare for battle. The hunters all quickly ran to get ready but I knew that I would have to battle without their help! At that moment the first wave of monsters became visible at the edge of camp I quickly grabbed my pen and clicked it revealing riptide. I rushed forward into the oncoming army of hellhounds, draken , dracnie, and cyclopses. The first hellhounds that came kept into the air so I jumped up and sliced two of them in half reducing them to dust. I then had to duck and roll to the side to dodge the other two. I looked at the large amount of monsters coming around the camp. I knew I had to act quickly so I jumped as high as I could and slammed my fist into the ground causing a massive earthquake to occur, knocking the enemies off there feet then the hunters came out and started firing arrows into the hord of monsters that went into the air killing a large number of them. Though we were doing fairly well we were outmatched and if I didn't do something soon we would be over run I had to do something and do it fast. Hunters hold your fire and get behind me! When they were out off the way I lit my hands on fire and it burned blue I started throwing it into the enemy turning them to dust! I made a wall of fire around the camp stopping the enemies from advancing. We were safe for now.
Artemis's POV
I was flying the moon chariot when I heard roars I looked down and saw hordes of monsters going towards my camp so I looked over and I saw that Percy was in the middle of the camp fighting through hordes of monsters. He really is a good gaurd but soon he was overrun he all of a sudden jumps into the air and slams his fist into the ground the enemies fly into the air,then the hunters came out of their tents and fired arrows into the monsters killing them, but soon they were overran again! Percy told the girls something and they moved behind him. "What is he doing I thought" then his hands caught on fire and he started throwing fire around killing the monsters when they were all dead he put a barrier made of what looked to be flames protecting them. He is strong and smart.
No one's POV
Those dumb hunters don't even know the what they are up against this is only the beginning of this my queen! Yes! they won't know what hit them go get the demons and send them to the camp they can't survive that. Yes my queen.
Authors note: what do u think will happen next will Percy and the hunters survive or will they be defeated? Also what do you think of the third chapter? I'm taking suggestions so I'd love to hear your thoughts and thank you for being patient with me I've been very busy this last week and I couldn't update.
