"Lilly? is that you? I've missed you so much"

but as i get closer to her she begins to travel further away from my grasp,

"wait, no! Please! Don't leave me again I need you, how could you leave me? You where the only person who loved me"

but the more I crept the further she went but all she kept repeating "Find me Ellie" as her eyes turned black and her body began to shrivel

My eyes shot open and I then realized my nightmares where back, i was drenched in a cold sweat but that's normal for me at this point.

 Lilly was everything to me and all i needed in my life until she disappeared two months ago. Lilly was my twin sister, we both were 19 but she was older only by a mere few seconds, but she held pride in that alone. We look exactly alike long blonde hair, green eyes with gold hues all along the edges, she was slightly taller then i was by a inch or two, me standing at 5'4 and her standing at 5'6. Thats the only way you could tell us apart. 

Not having any clue what time it was i picked up my phone from its resting place and read the time 9:36 a.m. I never left the house anymore so i felt no need to rush to get up and get my day started especially without Ellie screaming in my ear to wake me up before the roosters crow. God i missed my sister, she had been my only motivation in life. 

The search parties began to die down after the first month of searching for her, but I would never give up on the only thing i had left. I decided it was time to hop out of bed and get ready to start my day. 

As i got out of the shower the smell of fire caught my attention "not again!"

I ran down stairs to see my mother passed out drunk on the couch with a lit cigarette in her hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other, I searched around for the source of the smell and saw the stove on with a pot full of something that no longer could be deciphered through the black coating, i turned off the stove and returned to my mother to turn off her cigarette and took the almost empty bottle of whiskey out of her hands.

I shook her awake but she wasn't budging, "Mom, wake up please let's get you to bed"

she grumbled and opened her eyes "Lilly?"

My entire body tensed as i stood silent in front of her

"Lilly, baby you're home. Never leave again, your sisters horrible to me! She just yells and screams i've missed you"

I could feel her body embrace mine but i was stuck, my mother never showed affection to me. I pried her hands off of my body and said " no, im Ellie mom. Lilly is still missing"

And at that very moment she looked me in the eyes and i saw her eyes that were identical to mine harden and hide all emotion.

"I should've known. Leave me be don't you have somewhere else to be? Just leave Ellie, GO!"

I couldn't stand to hear anything else, so i grabbed my coat and slammed the door behind me.

That's when i felt the cold nip of winter hit my cheeks, Winter was my favorite season of all. Lilly and I always climbed into our tree house and watch the snow flakes fall until our mother came home from god knows where.

I didn't even realize i began to cry until i heard a voice, " miss are you okay?"

I looked up quickly before returning my eyes to the ground and saw a man standing in a bulky coat, his face intently chisled, his eyebrows furrowed with what looked like to be sincere concern.

"yes, um I'm fine." It came out more as a question then a statement

as i began to walk away i heard " hey, wait!"

I turned around to see him trying to catch up to me. 

"Lilly?"

My entire body froze as i stared up at him in shock

"Lilly, your safe? your home!!"

When her name escaped his lips my face contorted to one of dispair and anguish

How had he known my sister? 

He embraced me like he never wanted to let go, i pushed him away quickly after i began to regather my thoughts. He looked confused and hurt and for some reason i felt my heart pull. I've known that look far to well.

"I'm not Lilly, She is my twin sister who the hell are you?!"

"Ellie?"

"i wont ask you again, who are you?"

"Your step-brother..."
