mal put her phone down, and went into the closet to choose something to go on this hang out or whatever.
she wasn't one to go and hang out with chad, but he was offering to be friendly and she wouldn't turn that down.
after choosing an outfit, that contained of an auradon prep hoodie, and slightly ripped jeans, topped off with some flats.
she walked into the bathroom and did her make up, which she was barely learning how to use thanks to evie.
after doing that, she walked back out and sat on her bed, to wait for chad's arrival.
she had sat there for a nice twenty minutes and a knock was heard at her door.
she opened the door and there stood a smiling chad.
"hey mal, you look amazing." chad complimented. mal smiled in return and thanked him.
the walked down the halls of auradon prep and went towards the exit, on their way to town.
"so, how are you feeling?" chad asked mal, his hands shoved into his pockets.
"well, i'm actually feeling a lot better. thanks for asking, chad." she thanked.
he smiled.
"hey, that's what friends are for." he replied.
after walking around town, shopping, and eating ice cream, they finally decided to head back before they get in trouble for missing curfew.
"thanks again, chad. i appreciate it. you really helped me today." mal said, smiling up at him.
he had decided to walk her to her dorm.
"you're welcome." he replied.
she stepped into her toes and planted a kiss on his cheek, and they both couldn't help the blush rising up onto their cheeks.
"goodnight." she smiled, before walking into her dorm.
he smiled and nodded.
of course nothing would be done about their secret feelings because it was too far down the road to start something.
