I race to the garage - the first place dad would be. Suprisingly, he's not there. I rush to the office - not one. I run to dadś room, nothing. My mind spins in all directions. Then, I put a finger on the answer.Yep, I tell myself. I knew it.
Dadś been working on a time machine for a long time now. He has always thought about going back in time, and making sure that mom had never died, so he could bring her back into the future with us. How grand that would be, a perfect family photo once again. Of course, I never remember taking a famly christmas card picture, or a new years card, because dad said there was no need. We don't have friends anyway.
My mind is blank. Did his silly little machine really work? Should I follow him? I know what I have to do, but I don't want to. Then, I realize, Dad would do anything for me, so back to the future I go.
