Customer is looking at me. His face flushed with red - thanks for the posts on the side of the road that I was able to see him and the stars and the moon, thank You Lord - and he immediately looked away from me, as quick as my tires spin.

"You alright?" I asked him, feeling a little nervous. He looked like he have seen me somewhere and was shock that he's here sitting with me in my car?

"Yeah" he said in a rushed tone. He takes a few deep breaths and finally composed his self. I'm actually starting to be nervous and a bit scared now. What did I do?

"Did...Did I said something wrong?"

"No! No, nothing. I was just, shock s'all" he explained, looking at me for the second time, and just like earlier, he looked away quickly again.

"Shock? About what?" I pressed him, helping him yet again to open up to me.

"You just look....pretty" he stuttered.

Wait, did he just say pretty?

I chuckled, not really wanting to let him know I was weirded out. I guess he's gay? Because what guy is to say that another man is pretty? I mean, it's not that I'm homophobic or something but just, I'm not expecting this almost-not-talking customer of mine, would say a thing like this.

It sounded like it's his way of informing me that he's gay.

I've never really had the problem of my sexuality, seeing I've never been into relationship. It's just wasn't my thing. With all the drama I have in life, I have no time for a girlfriend - or boyfriend - to fit her or him into my complicated life.

So I guess, I have no problem to be called pretty. I mean, it's a compliment right?

"I'm sorry if I weirded you out, it just slipped" he said, looking down on his fidgeting fingers lying down on his lap. He looks shy. Cute.

"Nope. I'm not weirded out I was just shocked" I still chuckled. I don't want Customer to get uncomfortable in my car. I want all my customers to have the best ride of their lives.

Whoa, that sounded wrong.

After that, we went back to being silent. A part of me, were regretting I ever chuckled in the first place. I mean, what if I didn't made him comfortable instead, uncomfortable. Maybe he thought that I was laughing at him. Oh no.

"I didn't mean to offend, you, really. I was just shocked because no one ever has told me I'm pretty and just-"

"It's okay Harold. I get what you mean" he looked at me and offered a smile and whoa. That was one beautiful smile he got there.

I've never had the chance to look at him properly seeing I'm driving and I don't want us to go to the hospital because of me. That's the most important rule in driving. Always keep your eyes on the road.

But this time, I found myself staring at Customer. He had this sandy blond and dark roots hair. His teeth were obviously braced. His cheeks can definitely see how red it is by how pale his skin is. I don't know why he's all red but it's cute on him.

A sound of a horn made me tear away my staring at him and I see a bright light straight ahead. I quickly turned the steering wheel to the right to avoid the huge truck coming across us.

"What the hell?!" Customer exclaimed. His eyes are wide and both hands are holding into my right arm like his life was depending on it.

I stopped once we passed the truck and is now on the side of the rode and away from the other cars passing by. Both of us breathing heavily by the amount of heart attack we almost had.

"What the hell!" he repeats, looking at me with wide eyes. He moved so close to me like he's wanting an embrace after a fright he had. I would've given it to him to comfort him but I was also too frightened by what happened.

Never in my life have I not kept my eyes on the road.
