You get a text from Matt. Excited, you hurriedly jump up and check your phone. Miss u Babe. See u soon :)
You roll your eyes and frown. He's been saying that for the past two months. As much as you completely adore him, Matt often annoys you with his concerts on the days you most want to see him; this year was the worst.
Valentine's day.
You sit by your window, gazing out at the beautiful sky. Sighing, you imagine what you planned your first Valentine's day with him to be like. A beautiful picnic, the sun shining on his beautiful blue eyes as he smiles at you, staying there all day together, just the two of you. Maybe you'd even have gotten your first kiss.
You shake the thoughts from your head and move back to reality. You turn your attention back to your window. You think that your thoughts got the best of you again as you see him walk up your driveway.
Wait. He's walking up your driveway?
You pinch yourself, and pray it's not a dream. When you finally realize it's reality, you smile and sprint outside to him standing with a bouquet of your favorite flowers.
