Chapter 11

Jack's POV

Monica came out of the bathroom with the clothes I gave her and come over to the kitchen.

"So, what are you making?" she asked eager to help out.

"Well I was making mashed potatoes, ham, and mixed veggies, but... I'm not the greatest cook." I explained. Monica laughed and went to the stove.

"Don't worry, I'm not the best either." She laughed and looked over at me.

Once the food was done we set the table. We both looked at each other and smiled.

"Guess we both have to get changed now." Monica said. I nodded and she started heading for the bathroom and I went to my room.

Monica's POV

Once I was back in my dress, I folded Jack's clothes that he let me wear and walked out of the bathroom. I walked over to the couch and laid his clothes on it. I turned around and there stood Jack, he was wearing a suit jacket with a nice t-shirt and a pair of jeans with some nice shoes. He looked really good and I know I was giving him the same look that he was giving me earlier. He came closer to me and we were very close together. We both were looking at each other in the eyes and I felt my face heat up. Jack just smiled and his face got closer to mine.

Then his phone started to go off and the moment stopped. Jack backed away and went over to his phone that was on the counter.

"Oh! Hey, Felix!" I heard Jack say.

I didn't listen to the conversation, I just was thinking about what almost happened. Was he going to kiss me? He was so close to my face, so I'm gonna guess he was going to.

"Okay! Thanks Felix! Merry Christmas!" Jack said as his phone conversation ended.

"Ready to eat?" Jack asked as he turned and looked at me almost as if nothing happened between us. I walked over to the table and sat down. Jack sat down on the other side of the table. Once we were eating I figured I ask him a question.

"So what did Felix want?" I asked.

"Oh! Felix and I normally hang out with each other for New Years. Sometimes even Daithi comes over with us. Felix wanted to know if you were gonna be there, he saw the one video and wants to meet you. So does Marzia, I bet you'll like her." Jack explained. I nodded my head. I really wanted to ask him if he was going to kiss me, but every time I thought about asking him I would get butterflies in my stomach.

Once we were done eating we walked over to the sofa and gave each other our presents.

"You first." Jack said as he sat facing me and made a funny face as he tried to get comfy causing me to chuckle. I unwrapped the top box and opened it. It was a pair of boots with wings. My jaw dropped and smiled.

"These are awesome!" I said and put them in the box and opened the next.

The next present was another pair of shoes but these were sneakers and they were rainbow colored with wings as well! I bet Mark told him I liked wings, I don't think Jack would've known that. I opened the next and inside was a Septic Sam and a Septic Sam sweatshirt. I smiled and got up and gave Jack a hug.

"Thank you!" I said as I pulled out of the hug and gave him his bag.

He took the note off the bag and he just laughed. He fished one out without looking and felt it.

"Well, it's squishy, so Imma guess a toy. Except I'm not sure what it is." He said. He then opened it and it was Sans.

"SANS!" Jack yelled and then quickly got another. One by one Jack figured them out pretty easily after he found Sans.
