I looked into his eyes. He stopped whatever he was doing, and stood surprised, like i was a two headed freak or something!
"heyy, I know you!", he said, in a voice so warm and intimate that it made me jump.
He was tall, with tousled dark hair, dark brown eyes and his skin seemed to glow pale honey gold, but that could have been just the light from the grill.
"uhh... did you also go to St. Mary Academy?", i asked moronically, totally forgetting that it was an all-girls school.
"hah! that would've been biologically impossible, no?", he asked, his eyes lighting up playfully. His velvet texture voice had a slight hint of a foreign accent.
His features were strong. Slightly aquiline. He was clean shaven but had a slight stubble. His sleeves were folded till his elbow and showed his muscular and sinewy arms. A tiny scar lurked at the corner of his seriously sexy mouth......
I continued staring at him, trying to recall him, but in vain! he does look familiar....
"oh c'mon Mizzy, Tizzy, Lizzie!", he said ruefully, " jog that memory!".
Only one person ever called me Mizzy, Tizzy, Lizzie, or Hizzie.... it was some lame joke that my name contained too many "zzzzz"s, only he couldn't remember what it exactly was...
But surely this waiter couldn't be...
A few sparks leapt up from the grill, startling me, lighting up his quizzical eyes...
I knew those eyes........!
