Not On The Inside

-A Few Days Later-

The claw marks on my face had went away but, it severely hurt if I touched where it was.

It's like it had healed on the outside, not on the inside though.

Maybe it was because it was a werewolf's claw mark. I don't know but, right now, I'm not going to worry about my pain.

Isaac didn't show up for school this morning in Chemistry. I sat next to a vacant seat, feeling a bit bored without him there.

Then, this pool of pain hit me in the stomach and chest. "Agh." I groan, holding my stomach.

"Taylor, is something wrong?" The teacher asks.

"N-no, I'm fine." I assure him.

"What's wrong, Taylor?" Scott whispers.

"I don't know." I shrug, feeling the pain travel to my head.

"Do you know where Isaac is?" I question.

"Derek is having him and some others search for Erica and Boyd.. Why?" He asks.

"You need to find him, the last time this happened, he was hurt." I order.

"How? We're in school!" He informs me.

"Find a way."

Isaac's POV

"Wait, wait, I know this one." Scott's mom says, helping them pull me through the hospital.

"What happened?" She asks.

"I-I don't know but, that girl back there.. Help her, she saved me. Help her." I answer.

She nods and they pull me into a room and before I know it, I'm asleep.

"Isaac, what the hell are we going to do? It's healing fast!" Scott's mom informs me, showing me the healing wolf scratch.

"Did you call Derek?" I inspect.

"Yeah, like a million times, he didn't pick up." She mutters. "Got any other emergency wolf contacts?"

"Call Scott."

"What about your vampire girlfriend or whatever she is though?" She asks.

"No, call Scott."

Scott's POV

"There you are." My mom sighs in relief.

"Why didn't you call me sooner?" I ask.

"To be honest, I didn't want to. I mean, you were doing so good with your summer school, extra reading, saving up for that bike that scares the crap out of me." She wines.

"Mom, I promise, I'm doing better. A better student, a better friend, a better everything." I assure her.

"Okay, he's in room 215, if not he's already in surgery." She says.

I nod and run to the elevator. I press for the second floor and finally get to floor two.

I roam through the hallways, looking for his room. I turn a few corners to find Isaac in an elevator with.. Another wolf.

I run down the hallway and jump in right before it shuts. The man turns into a wolf and I follow his lead.

He picks me up and throws me into the elevator wall. Then, picks me up again a shoves his claws into my stomach, "Don't you know what your dealing with?! I'm an alpha!" He yells.

The elevator doors slide open and Derek rushes into the elevator. His claws go into his chest and he lets go of me, "So am I."

He throws the other alpha out.of the elevator and looks at me, "Shouldn't you be in school?"

Taylor's POV

I ran into Derek's house right after Scott called me. "What in the actuall hell is going on?!" I yell, seeing Isaac lying on the table.

"I don't know, I was just asked to come to the hospital." Scott shrugs.

"So, no one knows why he was in the hospital?" I ask.

"No." Derek answers.

"Great." I sarcastically mutter.

"Isn't he healed?" Scott asks Derek who is grabbing supplies for Isaac.

"Not on the inside."
