Daichi and I walked to the gym together, surprised to see that no one else was there until we heard screams coming from behind us. I turned around to see none other than Hinata and Kageyama running straight towards us. They stopped right in front of us, hunched over and out of breath. "You shouldn't wear yourselves out too much before practice," I sighed softly and walked into the gym. "You should put that energy to good use."
"Yes Sugawara-senpai!" They yelled in unison before helping set up. I smiled and shook my head, walking over to Daichi. He smiled at me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"We're going to play a little scrimmage today. It's not really fair, I know, but it's more to help the others. I'll have Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima, and Tanaka. Which means you'll have Ennoshita, Kinoshita, Narita, and Yamaguchi. I don't think Nishinoya is going to want to play without Asahi here, but if he does, you can take him," he smiled softly. I nodded and leaned up, pretending to whisper to Daichi, and kissed his cheek. I walked away to go talk to Hinata and looked over my shoulder to see Daichi flustered and blushing.
"Um, Suga-senpai, is Daichi-senpai okay?" Hinata asked quietly.
"Yeah, he's fine. He's just trying to figure some things out for practice today," I lied.
"Oh, okay," Hinata smiled and walked towards Kageyama. "Hey, Kageyama-kun."
"What do you want dumbass?" He asked, turning around to look at the shorter boy. Hinata looked up and stood on his tiptoes to leave a small kiss on Kageyama's lips. "D-dumbass, what was that for?!"
"I just wanted to," Hinata smiled and walked back towards me. "You don't have to worry, Suga-senpai, I'll keep your little secret."
I blushed softly and nodded my head. "Thanks, Hinata." He smiled and grabbed a ball from the cart, throwing it at Kageyama and hitting him in the face. I shook my head and waited for everyone else to come.
Daichi led everyone in warm ups and started the game. My team didn't have the best players, but they definitely tied they hardest. We were actually in the lead, Ennoshita and I were a pretty good pair. I gave everyone good tosses and we had pretty good defense. In the end, we ended up winning both sets, 25-23 and 25-17. Daichi promised the winning team ice cream and pork buns. We all went to change and finished cleaning up. I waited for everyone to leave before locking up. Daichi was the last person to finish, which was unusual. He pulled me by the arm and pinned me against the wall. "You're so mean, Suga," he whispered as he leaned his head on my shoulder.
"Awww, I'm sorry. Was I distracting you today? Or was it because a little kiss on the cheek flustered you?" I smirked. He kissed me on the cheek, making me smile, and started to walk away.
"Come on, I owe half the team ice cream and pork buns," he smiled. I walked out and locked the club room. We walked with the team to a little shop and bought them what they earned. After everyone left, Daichi grabbed my hand and we started to walk home.
(I know, I know, it was a really short chapter. Sorry, I've been pretty busy this week. The next chapter is going to be in Daichi's POV, so look out for that. I wrote two one shots, bokuaka and makoharu, and I'm thinking about typing them up and uploading them later. I'm not really sure, give me suggestions if you have any. Well, I'm off to actually be social, cri. Okay, au revoir.)
