Daichi's POV
I woke up with Suga still in my arms. The sky was still dark and I could here the small patter of raindrops hitting the roof. I checked my phone and groaned, realizing it was much too early for me to be awake. I decided to get a glass of water before going back to sleep. As I got out of bed, I accidentally hit Suga's shoulder. I heard a small whimper come from him as he started to stir. I didn't really pay any mind to it and walked out. I returned a few minutes later to see Suga shirtless and rubbing his shoulder. I walked over and sat down next to him. "Suga, what's wrong?"
He shook his head slowly. "I-it's nothing, really. It just hurts a little." I sighed and took his hand. "Maybe it hurts a lot..."
"Is this the first time?" I asked softly and kissed his cheek. He shook his head and continued to massage his shoulder. "How long?"
"A few weeks," he whispered softly and leaned his head on my shoulder. I felt something drip onto my shirt and looked over to see Suga crying.
"Suga..." I tried to comfort him, wrapping my arms around him and rubbing his back lightly. "Can I touch it?" I asked softly. He nodded his head slowly and turned towards me. I took his arm and started to massage his shoulder. I asked him some questions about the pain and he answered with soft nods of his head. I remembered when I had hurt my shoulder a while back and started to stretch out his arm. I looked up and saw him wince. I gave him an apologetic look. He smiled back at me and closed his eyes. After I finished, I let go of his arm and saw him relax a bit. He rolled his shoulders back and smiled softly.
"Thank you," he whispered and wrapped his arms around my neck. "It doesn't hurt anymore."
"Suga, if there's something wrong, I need you to tell me. I care about you and your safety. So, as your friend and your captain, I need you to be honest with me, okay?" I sighed and wrapped my arms around his back.
"Friend?" He frowned. I looked up at him and kissed his forehead. "I think you meant boyfriend," he giggled and pushed me back on the bed. He straddled my waist and placed his head on my shoulder. "Can we go back to sleep now?"
I smiled and nodded my head softly. Suga closed his eyes and kissed my neck softly as he started to fall asleep. After he finally fell asleep, I smiled and kissed the top of his head. I didn't really feel like going back to sleep, so I just laid there, holding Suga in my arms. "I wish I told you sooner," I thought out loud to myself. "Then I could have held you, kissed you, comforted you longer. Ten days seemed like so long in the beginning, but now, I only have one more day, one more night to hold you while you sleep and wake up with you still in my arms." I stayed up for the next few hours just playing with Suga's hair. I turned off the alarm before it could go off and started to leave small kisses along Suga's cheek and neck. He groaned softly and shook his head. "Suga," I hummed and continued to kiss him until he opened his eyes. There was a slight blush on his cheeks and the sun was hitting him just right, he looked like an angel. My angel. "Come on, Suga. I'll make make breakfast."
Suga sat up and rested his head on my shoulder. "Last night..." He whispered softly. "I don't want you to go."
"Suga, I'm not dying," I laughed and kissed his forehead. "I'll still see you everyday and you can always come over. Nothing's going to change other than the fact that we're not just friends anymore. Now I get to hug and kiss you. Hold you in my arms and protect you. Tell you how much I love you. I can't wait for our relationship to blossom and grow."
"You're such a sap," Suga laughed and kissed my cheek. "But I think it's adorable so..." He stood up and walked towards the bathroom. I started to get ready and walked out to the kitchen, starting to make breakfast. Suga walked out and wrapped his arms around me from behind. "You know, we've only been together for a few days, but it's kind of like we always have."
I smiled and finished up, placing two plates on the counter. I turned around and kissed Suga lightly. "If only..."
We walked over and started to eat. Our day went on as usual, school, volleyball, pork buns. We got back and I started to pack. Suga sat on the bed and watched me. After a few minutes, I had finished and walked over to sit next to him. He moved over and sat in my lap, wrapping his arms around my neck, his legs around my waist. "If we only have one more night, we might as well make the most of it," he smirked and started to kiss my neck.
I bit my lip and let my hands rest at Suga's waist. He continued to kiss my neck, his hands traveling up to my chest. I pulled away slightly and looked down at Suga. He looked up at me with hurt eyes, but I immediately leaned in and started to kiss him. He pushed us back so we were laying on the bed, him straddling my waist. We continued to kiss, slowly getting more intimate, more passionate. We both knew our boundaries, knew the lines we couldn't pass. He started to take off my shirt, tossing it to the side. I did the same to him. We both let our hands explore each other's bodies as we kissed. We continued this for about half an hour until Suga yawned.
"Tired?" I asked softly, my hand moving up to play with Suga's hair as I kissed his forehead. He nodded slowly and buried his face in my chest. I smiled and held him in my arms as he slowly fell asleep. I slowly closed my eyes, the feint smile on Suga's lips to were the last thing in my mind.
---
We both woke up fairly early the next morning. We got ready and ate breakfast before walking to school. I put my things in the club room and turned back towards Suga. "Promise me you'll stay over again the next time my parents leave?"
"Promise," I smiled and kissed him lightly on the cheek. We went to class and volleyball practice. As we walked home, we had one last lingering kiss before splitting paths. Suga had made me happier than anything. He was the light in my darkness, my angel.
