To day is a great day what kara thought. She packed all her clothes and bags for the start of her college life. Driving miles and miles 50 tops she decided to pass by a coffee shop.
" Im near the university, stopping by won't hurt" kara said to herself.
As she enter the coffee shop the smell of sweet coffee bean extracts welcomed her. Wow!!! "Welcome to starbucks! Hi im your barista jenn what could i get you mam?" said the women in the other end of the counter. She looks pretty and happy as well. Kara smiled and responded, " hi jenn im kara 😊 could i get an americano grande please".
"sure, that would be 4.95" kara got her wallet and paid.
Kara roamed her eyes and say a sign noting that the coffee shop needed a barista and so her eyes glimmed with happines.
"here you go kara, americano grande" jenn said.
"thanks, hey jenn i saw the saign saying the shop is hiring a barista? Would i be qualified?" kara asked.
"yeah we needed one fiona the barista retired and so we needed one. I'll ask al wait for a sec" jenn said hurrying to the closed doors behind the counter. Kara decided to take a sip of her coffee and saw 'cara written in it. Hahahaha she spelled it wrong kara thought smilling
Seconds later an man came maybe late in his thirties, smiling. "hi kara im al, im the manager, tell me have you had experience in being a barista?"
"hi al, actually a barista no, but i worked at my uncles diner back in town but im really hardworking and willing to learn al" kara said
"well then lets try you then. Your shift starts next week sunday" al said. "nice to meet you kara"
"thanks al!!!!" kara was so happy she waved her hand to al. Once al was gone she went to the counter. "hey jenn thank you so much"
"no prob kara, see yah!"
"bye"!!!!!
