Keeping it Together

Aisha P.O.V.

~I walked upstairs to my room feeling horrible about what going against Justin's orders. I know why he doesn't want me fooling around with August but I know there's something more to it than just that. Until I found out, I was gonna continue with what I was doing.

I took off my clothes and put on a black sports bra and some red athletic shorts with my red and black reebok zig zags. I grabbed my iPhone and plugged my headphones in so I could listen to music on my run.

I sneaked the keys off the balcony near Justin's room and headed to the car as quietly as I could. I drove down to the community park and got out and locked the car. I put the keys in my pocket then started playing my music and started to run.

A lot of things were running through my mind such as what's up Justin's ass, August'a fine self, and how I can get Justin to tell me what the issue. As I was thinking about all these things I ran into someone.~

Aisha: Oh!!

???: My bad ma! I'm sorry! Are you ok?

Aisha: (looks up) Oh it's just you.. August since when did you run?

August: What?! A nigga gotta stay in shape! Now take my hand. (Lends out his hand)

Aisha: (takes his hand and pulls herself up) Thanks...

August: Why you actin like something wrong?

Aisha: Im still thinking about earlier today... There's something I haven't told you...

August: What?

Aisha: (sits down on bench behind her) The only reason Justin has been acting like that about us was because on the very first day, when he said you were gonna be at the studio, I got all excited and talking about how much I loved your music and you but you know as a celebrity crush thing. Justin said that he doesn't want me to fool around with you cause you were just a player and that you weren't right with me. At that point I didn't care and I was gonna do what I wanted to do...

August: ...damn...I didn't know that's how he felt about me...but he right I was a player and got plenty of hoes but I stopped fooling with them once we started talking I swear!

Aisha: August...whose house did you go to when you left the studio that day? Be honest!

August: Oh you saw me...that was jus my momma house I promise! It had been awhile since I seen her so I wanted to stop by.

Aisha: (gets in August's face) Well you needa get your act together and prove to him and me that you've changed!

August: So you still think I'm a player?!

Aisha: (starts jogging back to the car and yells to him) Of course! You're famous with lots of money! What hoe wouldn't want you?!

~I decided to go back to the car so I could have time to myself since there was definitely none at the park! I just sat there for awhile and hoped that August could get his self together. I started the car and drove back to the house hoping Justin was still in his room so I wouldn't have to ask any of his questions.

When I got there, I tried to walk in unseen but of course Justin was in the living room. He was stilled focused in the tv until...~

Justin: Where you been?

Aisha: I was out at the park..jogging.

Justin: (looks at her) You're not sweating

Aisha: It's not really that hot outside and besides I wasnt out there long.

Justin: Ok (looks back at the tv)

Aisha: Justin what's wrong with you?

Justin: (still looking at the tv) What you mean?

Aisha: Whats the real reason why you don't want me around August?

Justin: I already told you...

Aisha: Dammit Justin!! Just tell me!! Keeping it from me isn't doing no good!! That's pretty obvious especially after what happened this morning!! (Covers her mouth)

~I immediately regretted what I just said.~

Justin: (turns off tv and faces her) August is bad because not only is he a player, he does drugs and use to be in the drug game!! I don't know if he stopped but if he hasn't and you guys start being with each other or whatever you'll be involved which will get you hurt or even worse!! Killed!! How am I supposed to live with that?! You got killed cause I didn't protect you from someone!! I don't wanna have that heavy burden on me for the rest of my life. I promised that I would watch after you,care for you,and protect you. And nothing will stop me from doing those things!!

~We stayed in those same spots staring at each other until he finally walked past me to go back to his room. August does drugs? Is he really selling? I couldn't shake those 2 things out of my head for the rest of the day.

I went upstairs to the bathroom in my room and ran my bath water. I went back downstairs to grab some fruit and some water and brought them in the bathroom and sat them down on the counter of the tub for me to enjoy.

I undressed myself then climbed in to the tub of hot water. I turned on the jacuzzi jets and let them blow onto my body while I relaxed. I got my phone to turn on music but August started to call me but I declined with no hesitation.

I put my phone on airplane mode so i couldnt receive calls or rext messages. The last thing I wanted was to talk go someone. I turned on my song V.S.O.P. by K.Michelle and sung along with the song. I ate my fruit and drunk my water and enjoyed the time I had to myself at that moment
