Chapter 7: Weird Dream of You and Me

It has a been a couple weeks and I'm finally going to be released from the hospital. Finally. I've eaten way to much tasteless hospital food and pie. Although I was more sick of the the hospital food than the pie.

That afternoon, I walk out the hospital doors, smelling the surrounding area. It smelled of pine trees and freshly cut grass. The view was breath taking as well. You could see green hills filled with large trees, and tall grass. I admired the nature around me for a while longer until i realized... Where is everyone?

No one was here to pick me up, in fact the only one who was around was the doctor that attended me these couple of weeks. He stood there expressionless, just watching me. He begins to wave me goodbye, while cracking a devilish smile. He walks inside slowly. I'm officially alone, no one is around me. No one. Or was i?

I felt a presence behind me. I was scared to turn around thinking it was the doctor. He's definitely creepy, and also the last person I want behind me.

"Alex, have you forgotten about me?"

The voice sounded sweet and hushed. Ended in a high accent after every sentence. I know this voice. Is this just a figment of my imagination? Am I hallucinating?

I feel a pair of arm grab me around my waist and a warm breath around my neck.

"I really missed you. I told you not to leave my side. We were going to be together forever. So why did you leave me in the first place?"

I felt soft lips, kissing my neck, gently move up towards my cheek. She whispers in my ear.

"Help me Alex. Please, I need you."

She continues to kiss me neck. With every kiss, my vision gets more blurred. My eyes lids begin to feel heavier. I grow more tired. I need to sleep.

You need me? No Delilah, I need you.

I wake up, in my mom's car, not knowing how I got in, nor what time my mom came. My eyes once again begin to get heavy.

My eyes almost close completely, then I noticed, this vision wasn't like the rest of them. This felt too real.

Just too real.
