'So you sing?' Justin smiled, with a twinkle in his eye.

'Yeah, I do. Only a little.' Selena replied, her cheeks were red bright tomatoes.

Justin grabbed Selena's hand, and swiftly walked to the garden. It was beautiful. It felt like paradise. So relaxing.

The water swished and swayed, as a wave of nostalgia hit  Selena.
And that's when she remembered.                                                                                                                                                                                                             Everything.

And without saying goodbye, or looking at Justin she fled the scene. Her eyes were bawling in fear.        She sat in the car, arms crossed, with her fragile legs on the seat. Her head curled up within her legs, she cried frantically. She heard the sounds of the waves again...

*Flashback*

Samantha (Selena's younger sister) and herself were gracefully strolling around the perimeter. They were at a beach, having so much fun! Then her soul was escaping through a hole that was gaping inside her heart. Hold your nose, here comes the cold water. Her last words were:

'I'm going to swim sis'. Those exact words burn, like an iron melting in to your skin. And she never saw her after that. She was cold product. Then reality slapped her in the face, which hurt like a knife stabbing you in your heart 100x.

'It's really nice right?' I asked. And whilst I said that she had left. Without a word. Not even made eye contact with me. I ran after her. Shit. I followed her, and that's when she broke down. I didn't know what to do.

I heard some sniffling. I just couldn't make out where she was. Then, I saw a piece of cloth hanging out from the car.

I opened the car door slowly so her scarf doesn't hurt her.

She looked at me with the hurt in her eyes. I could feel her soul burn into me.

'Sorry, it's personal. I don't like the water. I'm sorry.' Her broken voice had let out a whisper.

As soon as I could say anything she had hugged me so tight.

Her hand on my neck. I could feel her cold breath on me. Her tears hitting my chest. There was a moment of silence. I didn't know how to respond. Butterflies formed in my stomach. I didn't expect her to hug me.

I drove back to school.  The car ride was indeed silent. And I liked it, as it was a good silence...

I parked my car, and helped Selena get out of the car.

Selena: Is it okay if I come to your house today? If you don't mind.

Justin: Sure, oh and I'll make sure that there won't be water haha.

We both laughed. I headed to my lessons, waiting for the day to end.
