Vanessa’s POV

I was waiting with my friends Lizzie and Jeny in the airport.. waiting for our two friends, Jen aka Tink and Laurie to arrive from the states..... We hadn’t met yet... just over the Internet and I couldn’t be more thrilled!!!

“NESSIE!!!” I heard a strong American accent squeal, only to see Jeny waving her hand around like a wild woman.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHH TINK!!!!!" came the loud shriek from my mouth and I bolted over to hug her tight.

"Oh my goodness you're finally here!!!!" I said, all excited.

"I can't believe it... it's so.. beautiful here!!!" she squealed, hugging me back.

 "You haven't even seen the best of it yet." I smiled, draping and arm across her shoulders.

"And FYI you are trying Vegemite while you're here. I don't care if you spit it out, you will try it."

"eeewwww, didn't Niall's face on that show prove you shouldn't torture other humans?" she giggled.

I sighed happily. "Niall...." I said nothing else as I drifted off into Niall land.

"earth to nessie..." she giggled, waving a hand in my face.

"Do you want my best news?" she asked.

"Huh what?!" I said stupidly, shaking my head and coming back to reality.

"What news?! Tell me tell me!"

"I did some research..... did some Internet stalking.... you, me and the rest of the group are going to the bay today... I wanna show you something," she smiled. Laurie was out in the car waiting.. she'd already arrived....

"Should I be scared about this?" I smirked as we loaded all her crap into the boot of the car.

"Jees Tink how long are you staying for?" Lizzie giggled.

"only a couple weeks," she grinned, "One of those is for my shoes!!!"

"Now I see why you and Nessie are so close." smirked Jen as she climbed into the back seat.

Tink grinned and nodded, "Yup a vacation without shoes and one empty suitcase is a waste of time...." We busted out laughing and I slid into the drivers seat.

"Okay let's go drop this luggage off at home and then head for the bay."

"Take the long way Ness." chimed Lizzie.

"Let the girls see as much of the city as possible."

"yes! That would be amazing!!!" Jen grinned brightly. We left the airport and I began driving through the suburbs. After dropping of the luggage at our apartment in Surrey Hills, we made our way to the city itself...and I turned into Tour Guide Nessa.

"Okay so this is the CBD or the heart of the city. See that pointy thing over there? That's Centre Point Tower. We're going up there...at night."

"Up there...... umm no... my feet stay on the ground," Tink said, her face going pale.

"There's a guy who works in the restaurant up there that looks like Joe Jonas." Lizzie teased from the back seat. in a sing-song voice.

"Mmmm, Joe Jonas...." Tink swooned.

"Does that change your mind?" I asked while pulling up at the traffic lights.

"Ugh, maybe...." she giggled, "Now go faster... I want to get to the bay..."

"Aye Aye Ma'am" I giggled as the lights turned green.

"Man you guys have weird suburb names." laughed Laurie.
