~Denis' POV~

I wake up disoriented and sore. OUCH! I shifted to my side and let out a groan. What the hell? I look around and find Layla curled up on a chair. I look a little bit more and find myself on a couch. I'm assuming I'm in her house. Something is making noise just out of my vision.

"Well look who decided to join the living." Macy. I recognized her voice, but she sounded pissed. Why? What was her problem.

"What happened?" I ask, ignoring her attitude. I prop myself up on my elbows and finally she comes into view.

She's in sweatpants and a band t-shirt, her hair a mess. She looks like hell. I look back over at Layla, hoping I didn't wake her. Her cheeks were red, and her eyes made her appear like she's been crying. What did happen? I look back at Macy as she rolls her eyes.

"You blacked out and attacked Josh, Layla got you inside." she came off as very upset for some reason, and from the looks of Layla, she is. She blew up at her.

"Why was she crying?" I blurt it out and stare at her. This makes her uncomfortable and she shirts impatiently.

"We had a fight." I nod as she turns and strides away from me as quickly as possible, hiding back somewhere very far away from me. Layla stirs, making me get up and crouch down in front of her.

"Layla?" I whisper kinda shaking her awake. she shifts and looks at me concerned.

"Denis! Are you okay?" she sits up quickly and pulls me into her tiny arms. I chuckle and return her hug smiling. She's so cute when she worries.

"Yes, yes, I'm okay." I smile and kiss her forehead. Making her blushed and avoid my eyes.

"Lay, what did Macy do?" I ask quietly watching her. She looks back up at me then at her hands, playing with her fingers.

"She's just upset with with me, that's all," she said softly. I shake my head.

"She yelled at you didn't she? Just for being around us." she nods and shifts again. She's anxious. "Go pack. You can come on tour with me," I'm not even thinking anymore, but I don't care. I don't want to leave her here, and I don't want to be without her. She looked up at me wide eyed and confused.

"W-what?" she stammered watching my eyes. I held her gaze and nodded.

"Go pack. You are coming with me, I refuse to leave you here with her and Josh around." I say it with so much worry tainting my voice. I watch her and lean down to kiss her, then my phone starts vibrating. Shit. I roll my eyes and grab my phone from my pocket. The caller ID says Ben, oh God. I'm not on the bus..

~On the Phone~

"Denis?! Where the fuck are you!" he's yelling, and well he should be. Layla looks at me worried before jumping up and taking off to another part of the house.

"I'm sorry man, I'll be back soon, I got myself into a bit of trouble." I tell Ben and on the other end I hear all the guys arguing, all seemingly worried. I shifted listening to Ben tell the guys I'll be back.

"Dude! What's going on?" this time it was Cameron. I bite my lip debating on what to say.

"I got in a fight with a dude while I was dropping-"

"YOU WHAT!" this time it was everyone yelling. I must be on speaker, great.

"What dude?"

"Did you win?"

"What happened?"

"Why didn't you call us?"

Their questions poured out and I really had no answers at the moment. I still had barely any idea what happened, all I can remember is punching the shit out of Josh. Otherwise I got nothing. I'll have to ask Layla.

I'm about to tell them that it's okay, I'll explain when I get back, but I glance to my left anf find Layla holding a duffel bag, clean clothes, and smiling a little.

"Ready," she murmured. I didn't even speak to the guys after that. I clicked the END CALL button and walked to her grinning.

"Really?" I asked softly cupping her cheek as she nodded. She's coming with me! "Then let's get going, the guys are really worried,"

"Okay, let's go," She said it smiling, her eyes sparkling, she was excited.

~ Layla's POV ~

Denis pulls back up to the venue, rushing, Ben kept calling his phone, and so did Cameron. It was almost non stop. But he ignored it. He wanted to know what happened. So I told him.

Josh had showed up, which he remembered. But then he had pulled Josh away from me, threw him onto the grass and stood over him. Josh didn't stand down sadly, but his face was already contorted with pain.

"HEY IDIOT! Get away from Josh!" Macy had been standing next to me, yelling at Denis. She was being a brat. Josh grimaced and gotten back up, charging at Denis. He took him down and started wailing at him. Josh was never a good aim thank God. He missed him 99% of the time, but the two times he got him, it was just in the nose.

"JOSH STOP!" I had jumped in shoving him off. The only reason I was able to do that was because he was so distracted. He flopped down to the ground and immediately Denis jumped on him. In a few seconds you could hear the blood curling CRACK of Josh's ribs. He screamed and rolled to his side in pure pain. In my opinion, that's what he deserved.

I had pulled Denis back as Macy grabbed me, starting to yell and scream at me. She pulled me back and against the house screaming at me that it was all my fault she'd never be happy, and now that Josh was hurt. Why had she cared so much about him?

I finally slapped her across the face and shrugged out of her grip, that had left a pretty large bruise on my arm, and gotten over to Denis. He was out cold lying in the grass still bleeding. He had done major damage to Josh, and I wasn't even upset. I was concerned.

"I figured you just blacked out. I got you inside and cleaned up, then Macy started yelling at me again. I guess that's why I had looked like I was crying," I whispered the part about Macy, but it was all out in the open, he knew exactly what had happened now. The police never even showed up, but I'm sure they would.

He put the truck in park as the guys came running toward us. Did we have to tell them this whole thing, or would it stay between us? I suck at lying...

"I'm so sorry Layla," Denis muttered and fumbled with the keys.

"Why? you kept me safe, and Josh got what he deserved! Don't apolgize Den." I touch his hand, and immediately he looks up meeting my eyes. Before I can react, he kisses me. No hesitation, and all the passion imaginable. I hear the guys freeze just outside the doors and awe in the weird, almost mocking guy way, but Denis and I don't care, right now we are in our own little bubble. Everything melts away, until Ben yanks open his door.

"Denis! A cop is here, and we're going to miss our show in Idaho tonight!" he's yelling.

"okay, we can make the sh-" I cut him off.

"What cop?" I asked starting to get worried. Ben looks at me to Denis then back by the bus. And there, in all his glory, stood a police officer looking rather pissed off, and who stood next to him? Macy. Looks like the guys wouldn't be making that show after all. Damn it!
