"Wake up," I heard. I woke up hoping what had happened in the previous day had been a distant dream I never had to relive again but as I sat up on my bed and saw a room I didn't recognize, I knew it wasn't.
"What are you wearing?" I asked violet, who was dressed in a black outfit with combat boots.
"Oh this is our training uniforms," she said while pointing at a package at the end of my bed. I got up to get it and opened the box with outfits just like Violets inside of it.
"Get dressed," Violet said. "Classes start soon."
"Is there a shower anywhere?" I asked.
"Yeah, right through this door," she said as she exposed a door that suddenly appeared. I walked inside of it and it was a beautiful shower with lots of space.
......................................................................................................................................................
I walked into the classroom listed on the schedule left on my box. Violet said she had already gone through basic training so she didn't have the same classes. That was just great I thought.
People were grabbing chairs as I entered but I couldn't recognize anyone, until I spotted the guy from the van. What was his name I thought, something with a B. Br...Brett! Ha I knew I would remember. I walked quickly to the back of the classroom to grab a seat next to him.
"Hi." I said.
"Hey," he responded.
He seemed like the quite type. Those who don't stand up for themselves. I was loud but I could learn to endure the fact that he was like that.
"Good morning class," I heard come from the front of the class. A man that looked to be in his 20s stood in front of the class. He was dressed in an all black formal suit. He spoke in a strict, stiff, and mean way.
Brett didn't talk tthroughout the whole class and I was dieing of boredom. The same guy taught math, English, and history; it was devastating to hear that voice for 8 hrs and have to sit next to a guy who doesn't say even a word.
"I'll expect to see you guys for combat training tomorrow."
"What training?" I whispered to Brett.
"The one on the schedule," he said grabing his shoulder bag and leaving.
What? I looked down at the schedule; it planned my whole week. The cool thing was that I only had school once a week and today was it. But I had combat the rest of the week on field B. AWW man... now I had to find where that was. I could barely find this class and that was because Violet showed me the way so I guess I didn't even find it. Where was Violet and why did she know this place so much?! I thought she and I were both completely in the dark when it came to the other worlds.
I began to walk back to our room when I passed a window that showed a field of people in some kind of fighting class. I scanned the whole field from the third floor where I was standing when I saw Violet on the field. She was fighting a guy I didnt know and she looked like an expert. She was doing backflips and a bunch of other moves I didn't know. I was completely speechless. I felt like I didn't even know Violet.
"She's so good huh?" I heard Brett say behind me.
"What do you know about Violet," I asked Brett.
"Well not much, I just know she was assigned to protect us and that she is one of the professors who teaches weaponry combat.
Oh my god. Violet was only beside me because she was assigned to protect me! What the hell?! I thought for the past years she was my friend. That we had been friends because we wanted to not because someone was forcing her to be with me.
